It seems that the appetite for power and influence knows no bounds for Obama, our imperial president. He continually ignores the legislative process and expands his power through the use of regulations and executive orders. His latest power grab involves the control of our nation's climate change policies. Obama signed an executive order on Friday that creates a new task force that will advise the administration on how to respond to the consequences of climate change. The result will likely mean that the federal government will be dictating to states and local municipalities on how they handle regulations in a large number of areas.
First, the debate on climate change (previously called global warming before it was shown that actual temperatures have been flat for the last fifteen years) is not settled, despite all the bleating by the media and the eco-nuts. I'm not going to go into all the specifics as that deserves its own separate article, but the issue of global warming is still definitely unproven. Even more suspect is that belief that man can have a severe impact upon the global climate. However, progressive liberals are always willing to use hysteria to further their aim of domination and controlling your lives. One reason for concern over this latest act by Obama is that any environmental problem is somehow linked to "climate change." Everything from storms to wildfires to droughts and everything in-between is now magically linked to climate change.
This task force is comprised primarily of Democrats who I'm sure will not recommend at every opportunity the need for more federal government action and oversight. Be prepared for the Obama administration to use this task force and federal bureaucracies like the EPA to push through even more regulations to kill development of federal lands, encourage more money-wasting green energy initiatives, and force local governments to adhere to federal guidelines in order to get emergency funds or highway construction funds despite wanting to use their own local standards.
The result of all of this is more federal control and tons of more government red tape. The EPA is overjoyed at getting to strangle more of our economy, stating, "To meet our mission of protecting public health and the environment, EPA must help communities adapt to a changing climate. These Implementation Plans offer a roadmap for agency work to meet that responsibility, while carrying out President Obama’s goal of preparing the country for climate-related challenges.” Break out the granola and bean curds as eco-freaks gain further control of our national policies over energy and land development.
While I hold Obama and his progressive liberal allies responsible for continuing to grab power at an unprecedented scale, I also fault Congress. They are willingly letting Obama run around the Constitutional process we have of three distinct branches of government. They are letting Obama, through the use of regulations and executive orders, become a legislative entity in addition to his executive responsibility. They need to stop lying on their back, waiting for Obama to rub their bellies, and stand up like patriots and maintain the checks and balances that have served our republic for over two centuries.
The Supreme Court, and Congress, if they had any balls, would arrest obama, and hang him for treason.
The ‘RATS like to say you can only be a racist if you have power. With all of the power Barry has, he now qualifies as an official super racist.
How does he pay for it?
He's just the mouthpiece of the cabal.

Only the Senate can override an EO and the jackasses have kontrol of that so as many jackasses as possible need to go especially if they are RINO’s.

Herein lies the problem. A Congress so afraid of their own shadow that they are incapable of doing their DUTY to protect the Republic. Shame on them.
At some point, it will be up to each person to say “NO MORE” - and suffer the consequences.
The Republican is governor of Guam, an unincorporated territory in danger (according to Democrats) of tipping over.
More specifically, not only did the Founding States make the Constitution's Sections 1-3 of Article I to clarify that all legislative powers of the federal government are vested in Congress, not the executive or judicial branches, but also consider the following.
Undoubtedly based on the statutes referenced above, the Supreme Court officially clarified in Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. v. Sawyer that exeuctive orders don't have the force of law unless legislatively supported by Congress. And since Congress is presently divided, Obama can probably make paper airplanes out of many of his executive orders, Obama likely making such orders to impress low-information voters.

This is where “states and local municipalities” need to tell obama to stay the hell out of state business!
Good luck waiting for the GOP to come to the party.
