Obamacare Regulations Are Worse Than The Bill Itself

At the risk of sounding like a fortune-teller or a braggart, WE TOLD YOU THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN! We see something new every day out of Obamacare. Many of us tried to warn the rest of America that Obamacare was not going to be good for our country. We were shouted down and accused of racism. We were told we were against providing a basic right, ie. health care, to Americans who had no health care insurance. When we tried to point out some of the things contained in the Affordable Care Act, we were called liars. President Obama used his speeches to tell Americans they needed to stop listening to the people who were lying about Obamacare. Namely, that would be anyone who dared question the purpose behind the bill, or what it contained.

We have seen this unfolding for about three years and it is becoming more apparent every day who the real liars are. For the record, it is the Obama administration and the liberal Democrats who have been lying to the American people from the beginning. They are spinning the latest revelations about Obamacare in their favor, blaming the insurance companies for dropping the plans of millions of Americans. In reality, it is the regulations that have been written since Obamacare was passed that are the problem.

This is something I talked about before. As massive as Obamacare is, remember that no one really read the bill before it was passed, it is the regulations that have been born from it that are the real problem. The legislation was written in such an open-ended way to allow the Department of Health and Human Services to write their own rules and regulations and then define them. The last count I have heard was over 20,000 pages of new federal regulations. As if we didn't have enough of those already.

As a result, we have already seen things like the birth control mandate that flies in the face of some religious institutions. But it is the law because the Obama administration deemed it necessary and wrote regulations to back it up. It is also the precise reason why millions of Americans are losing the health insurance plans they were perfectly happy with. Because of the rules and regulations of Obamacare, they are now receiving letters from their insurance providers, telling them they would be unable to keep their plan. Instead, because of the new federal requirements that were written into Obamacare after it was passed, they have to change plans.

If the changes in question were minor, it would be no big deal. Unfortunately, they are not so minor. We are talking about people having to go to a plan that has a deductible of $6,500 and only pays 70% of health care costs after that. Plus, the premiums are running much higher than their previous plan. All of this because of the almost 2.5 million words contained in the Obamacare regulations.

These regulations are indicative of how the Obama administration works. Actually, they are indicative of what happens any time you have a federal government that is so far out of its constitutional boundaries. Remember how the EPA is writing rules and regulations to further their liberal agenda? This is no different, other than being on a much larger scale. The liberal Democrats, of which President Obama is a card-carrying member, shoved Obamacare down our throats. Nancy Pelosi told us they needed to pass the bill to find out what was in the bill. In the three years since its passage, the Obama administration has been quietly writing the rules and regulations by which its plans would be implemented. They have made their own changes to the law, truly making it their own work, simply by writing the regulations they wanted.

As much as I was worried about Obamacare, I am much more concerned about the regulations written after the bill was passed. I can't help but wonder what changes are coming because the liberals have figured out how to pass a law that is already bad enough and then to manipulate it into something much worse by writing their own rules and regulations. Their end goal is to force us all into a single-payer health care system and with the Obamacare regulations, they are making a concerted effort to push us in that direction.

Let me say this again. WE TOLD YOU THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN! To the voters who have us President Obama, you should have read the fine print. We are now stuck with a man in the White House who has lied to us even more than Bill Clinton. And the lies continue...

This thing is going to take so much disposable income from people and transfer it to government and welfare recipients, how can the economy hold up? What is keeping the markets up when it is obvious that this ACA thing is going to bankrupt most people? It doesn’t make ANY sense.

The sheer size of the obozocare bill told us this was coming. The devil is in the details when it comes to Liberals. What I’d wondered when it was upheld and what I wonder yet today is; How does the left survive the laws implementation? The insurance companies are TELLING people why they are being dropped. This effectively goes right over the MSM and their power to ignore.

Welfare recipients have been demoralized and liberals the same. In India thugs purposefully blind orphans to make them more effective tourist beggars, making them eternally dependent on their exploiters.

It seems the acid used to blind them is the same sort of acid to make liberals blind stupid.

Our government employees, like OWS idiots, are too completely dependent on their jobs.

This is a very ugly picture.

Your quality, displayed here, is such that you would be a delightful addition to the Freeper Editorial section. I've posted quite a bit there, but lately, politics is just too damned depressing.... and instead, spent most of my time learning skills and acquiring material for the inevitable collapse.

Still: If you post to News, and add the Freeper Editorial entry, that would be good. Who knows... you might encourage me to get back on the Editorializing Bandwagon. :)

Regulations come from ignorant bureaucrats, but they hold the same status as the law.

If nothing else, we need a MINI revolution in our government where if there must be a regulatory agency, they can ONLY propose regulations and OUR REPRESENTATIVES MUST vote on every single regulation.

What we have now, is effectively the same type of government we rebelled against in the founding of this country where a ruling elite, unaccountable to citizens, dictate what we MUST do.

The GOP should take the opportunity to dwell on the supporting regulations of ObamaCare. THEN they should forcefully make the point that Obama has forced draconian regulation on virtually ALL other industries that is smothering them, like it is doing to individuals and the healthcare industry in general. This is not an accident and it amounts to an intentional destruction of our economy and free market system. And the Democratic Party has aided and abetted Obama in this atrocity and the American people should hold them accountable for it.
