Mitch McConnell for Pres. 2016 and General of Counter-Terrorism for VP.
I thought you would be interested in this story I found on news.msn.com: US ambassador summoned by Germany over NSA spying ( http://news.msn.com/world/us-ambassador-summoned-by-germany-over-nsa-spying#tscptme, )
Wait a second? Didnt Snowden first go to China? Where China and their reverse-technology, was granted the rights to reproduce the Grundig SW radio? I hear people in American jails, know how to increase the band-with of small transistor radios. What could China do with a Grundig or cell phone, like the Samsung knock-off.
Now didnt Germany discredit our secrets, as found in the German newspaper?
As for France, just how long were they (like Australia in Afghanistan) going to provide there battalions, in the Syrian civil strife? Long enough to see the US weaponry as a Socialist Country? Then pull-out and leave us to boots on the ground?
Now: what about Switzerland and that $2,800.00 a month? Doesnt that story sound familiar, as in the US $10 Million dollar theory?
What happened to our spy-plane brought down by China? If France and Germany are really worried about spying? Wouldnt we infiltrate the Belgian Arms Race? I think they have enough to worry about, with the Saab software in Fighter Jets? Comprendee-Vous?
No. One Global Problem? Malnutrition.

We are in the low 50s now, and I suppose that sounds like a heat wave to you!
We do have sunshine, and it has lifted my spirits.
HAHA!
It lifted them so much that I have made astonishing progress on the “To-Do” list for this week! I got several letters written, but can’t send them, as I am out of ink. *sigh*
However, tomorrow is another day, and the Ink Bunny will come hip-hopping into the printer to perform his magick!
I’m currently watching “The Bible,” which aired around Easter, and it’s at the top of my Christmas List. Of course, my Christmas lists have a tendency to stay the same, year after year, as the finances don’t change enough for me to take advantage of the sales!
Still, it’s fun to have a list!
I will probably go to bed early today, but that will be mostly because of the fact that I have a busy (physically) day tomorrow. I don’t want to push it, as I want to give my heart time to heal a little more. I’m still fairly breathless, and that’s not good.
Being able to get up and move around was probably the sole benefit to driving the RV, but even that’s been severely curtailed in many states. RV has seat belts, and out West you’re required to use them.
This particular model has a modified intake/exhaust and it is LOUD when it’s being pushed, which it always is wherever the speed limit is above 55mph. When the O/D kicks in, it cruises fairly quietly at 60; not so 70. Nowhere near.
Get it on a grade, or push it to 75 and that fat big block rumble escalates to a full-throated roar. I seriously wore industrial grade ear plugs.
LOL

The closest we came to a motor home was a 35’ 5th wheel, and surprisingly, the kids rode back there while Igor and I were in the pick-up.
It was legal for them to do so, though not if it had been our little 19’ travel trailer.
We were in St. G through Saturday morning. I’d have loved to swing through your neck of the woods to say “Boo,” but that would have been about all we’d have had time for, and I wanted to do you better justice than that.
Also, traveling with my FIL — let’s just say he’s something of a “mitigating factor” where ladies of a certain age are concerned; more cad than Casanova, sadly, though his perception is exactly the reverse.
Wednesday evening was Thanksgiving with one set of relatives.
Thursday was Thanksgiving with another set.
Friday we borrowed a car and escaped to Zion National Park for the day, then went and visited another set of relatives after we got back.
Driving home on Saturday, we managed dinner with friends in Bakersfield who I’ve known for more than thirty years. We got home about 2am, fell into bed and slept the sleep of the dead.
What I need, now, is a vacation.
LOL!
I could have driven up to visit! It would have been a lot of fun to meet up with you and your beautiful family, but it will happen in the future, I’m sure.
It sounds like your trip was fun, and that’s the point.
And I would never worry about your FIL...Some guys are just “that way,” and I know that. ;o]
Eliminate the pigeons.

- - - [1] The politically disastrous government shutdown
and [2] the uncompromising posture of conservatives has pushed the GOP Establishment to a tipping point. - - -
Note: For the sake of discussion, I have annotated the key quote (IMHO) from another FR McConnell thread article.
It is worthwhile for us Conservatives to take notice of what the RINO Establishment deems important after being bypassed for nearly 5 years by an Oppressive Communist takeover of the US Federal Government.
During the recent partial shutdown of the US Federal Government, the Just Say NO! intransigent obstructionism of Communist Senator Harry Reid and Communist Tyrant B. Hussein Obama has been successfully sold to the RINO Establishment by the ever-helpful Leftstream Media as disastrous. [See point # 1 above.]
In fact, the main disaster was that the laid off Federal employees were given back pay for the days they were on shutdown vacation.
Notice how quick the RINO Establishment has been to accept the Leftstream Medias second point: The uncompromising posture of Conservatives. [See point # 2 above.]
This quickness to reject Courage of ones convictions, Principle, and other stellar virtues of duly elected political party members is the most revealing tell of the lack of a philosophy that represents the voters who elected them.
If we, the Conservatives Voters, have learned anything from TARP to Obamacare, it should, IMHO, be this:
A Republican in Name Only, (RINO), will always support the easiest possible solution, regardless of the great harm that will be done to the United States of America.
_________
Now comes the difficult part for each of us Conservative Voters.
1.) Do we re-elect a pro-Democrat RINO in the vain, (IMHO), hope that somehow a RINO majority will actually rollback the great harm done to our Country from TARP to Obamacare? IOW, THIS time it will be different!
2.) Do we attack, full-bore, the RINO Establishment as the proven useless guardian of the US Constitution and American Core Values?
2014 is the perfect time to decide to accept or reject the RINO Establishment, IMHO.
What say all of you?

Wonder how much of my coffee that could be mixed with...
We cannot hope to make any positive strides while the effeminate nutless rinos continue to make a nuisance of themselves as they will always side with the DNC on everything.
I'm thinkin' ya don't mix coffee into 20 year old bourbon. As they say, that be sippin' whisky..
In the case of your coffee however, the resultant would be a close approximation of everclear.. or maybe paint remover and rust preventative..
Herbicide/deer annoyer.
Didn’t you try that, and they mutated?
I like the slightly dizzy courtesy of the first one, but the walloftext effect in the third is okay, too.
