The push for radical transgender rights in schools is trumping privacy rights at one Colorado high school.
A male student at Florence High School who claims to be a transgender has been harrassing girls in the bathroom. When parents complained, school officials said the boy's rights as a transgender trumped their daughters' privacy rights.
As the controversy grew, some students were threatened with being kicked off athletic teams or charged with hate crimes if they continued to voice concerns.
The Pacific Justice Institute sent the school a letter warning against squelching privacy rights.
"We're not going to stand by and let 99.7 percent of our students lose their privacy and free speech rights just because .3 percent of the population are gender-confused," the PJI wrote.
PJI is demanding assurances from the school that privacy and expressive rights will be protected and any accommodations will not involve the girls giving up access to most of their restrooms, as has previously been suggested by the school.

Crazy! Absolutely bonkers. These school administrators have decided to stop thinking for themselves. Thinking is hard, let a system do it for me.
This is sick.
If the whatever has boy parts..he uses the boys bathroom. If he is so gender confused...send him to an alternative school
Only going to get worse! Not sure how they will respond but Id think that the politically correct folks will win out in the end. The means that most everybody else will suffer because of the “different” folks.
The inmates are truly running the asylum. It would be nice if the normal kids had an escape hatch which didn’t involve forcing the parents to pay for both public and private schools.

Things started to go downhill in public schools as soon as they took God out of the mix. And we can see it continues to get worse.
Homosexuality, Racism, and Abortion, the Holy Trinity for Liberals, can't be compromised.
That's why these school officials are backing the transgender weirdo over the harassed girls. If they didn't, they would be committing Liberal blasphemy.
There was a time in America when a situation like this would have been handled by the boyfriends of the girls.
Anybody want to venture how many of these girls were all for transgender rights prior to this unintended consequence?
I realize not all of these high school kids are supportive of this sick perversion, but sadly, many, many are. Sometimes reality is the best medicine to cure a potential liberal. Time will tell. Until that time, learn to hold it ladies!
God bless this perv. SOMEONE has to BREAK this stupid system!! The longer we postpone this type of inevitable conflict, the longer the perversion will infect the status quo. I, for one, am glad he/it did it. You go, girl?!?
This is a very simple fix. Have a couple guys tell the “trangendered” person that there won’t be any further complaints of harassment. What choices the person makes after that are on him. That seems very fair to me.
I recall in high school three brothers harassing one of my friend’s younger sister. It was the worst person they could have targeted but they continued on after being told to stop. Shortly thereafter the lads’ father ended up calling the police, apparently he was irate about a bill from the dentist and blah, blah, blah. The family was known to the authorities so the matter didn’t go further than a call to my parents. The problems stopped. Some people require physical correction.
The recourse is to get out of the cesspool that is public schools. What kind of sick people send their babies to face this crap every day? Enough already. GET OUT.
I wonder if the "educators" have ever heard of the 1st Amendment?

The girls have the right to SAY whatever they want - as long as they do not physically abuse "it", they are well within their rights.
There is no provision for an "it" to be given differential treatment, an elevation in status - call it what "it" is, it is a freak of nature.
