(TheBlaze/AP) — Major problems were reported Saturday all across America with the Electronic Benefits Transfer System, as consumers were stuck with no way to pay at registers, notes WBZ-TV in Boston.
WBZ reported that a computer-system upgrade was to blame, while the Associated Press reports that a routine check by vendor Xerox Corp. resulted in a system failure.
People in Ohio, Michigan and several other states found themselves unable to use their food stamp debit cards while shoppers from Maine to Oklahoma had to abandon baskets of groceries because they couldn’t access their benefits.

Very interesting as I read the first statement from Xerox and it was eight or nine states - now they are saying 17 states. Crap, one can’t believe any company these days - or Hussein or Boehner or etc., etc.. Where is Ted Cruz when you need him? Someone should send him a Superman suit.

Same here, and on top of that there is a concerted effort to gin up civil unrest with the illegals.
Civil unrest with Whites, Blacks, and Hispanic/illegals is being ginned up all at the same time.

I’m just back from my local Giant Eagle. No EBT card signs on the doors. The “demographics” of the store’s customers are quite different than usual!
I have never actually seen anyone actively using it and I do watch some of the time. I am actually surprised by the number of people I see pay in cash. I would wager, though, that certain areas of the city have something like 90% EBT transactions.
This is also going to make the 0bamacare registration “glitch” seem more normal.
