This is exactly why I believe passengers should be armed, if they are licensed to carry.

None of the dry run Thing is new. Its been going on for many yrs. Every once in a great while there will be a page 50 article about an episode. Its not a matter of if but when.
I quit flying after 9/11. Not out of fear of a hijacking, but because I refuse togo through a process akin to being booked just to get to the airport gate. II’ll go back to flying when all of the airports go back to the way they were before 9/11 and not a minute sooner. There will NEVER be another successful hijacking of an airliner in the US again. To support my argument, I give you Richard Reid, the shoe bomber. The passengers on that plane stomped a mud hole in his ass. Not one TSA screener or air marshal did that.
Lack of basic commonsense leads to insanity, a most serious, subtle, painful and slow burning, weapon of mass destruction...IMO
It’ll happen if the regime wants it to happen to fill that week’s requirement for a distracting crisis.

The entire Homeland (In)Security and TSA is an unintelligible mess and those that created it knew it!
El Al and the Israeli government do it best. They know full well who the passenger will be before he or she gets to the airport. There’s a very brief, seemingly insignificant, screening that goes on before passengers board.
American politicians carry it to extremes in order to expand the size of the onerous central socialist government.

just open the door to the cockpit!!- always surprised about that-! I assume those “reinforced doors” would block
an attack from taking over the plane?- not sure if the
terrorists can get to any flight controls to cause the aircraft to crash.. does anyone know?

At this point I’m sitting on a plane at 30,000 ft, a Muzzie jumps up with waving a spork about the place I’m going to shove my hopefully empty Dewars bottle up his nose til it goes through whatever functions for his brain. I’ll prolly have to get in line to do it.
So where these 4 “middle eastern men” given a stern talking to about how items in the overhead compartments may have shifted during the flight and about why not to smoke in the lavatory and sent on their merry way? Or what?

Yep, not worried about terrorists taking over an airplane. Either they will be dead or I will be dead before the plane safely lands.
americans getting on planes are well aware of who else is boarding...several years ago my family were taking a Alaska cruise, from Detroit metro to Vancover. I whispered into my son in laws ear,.....I am watching 3 guys that look hinky, he laughed and said....I have my eye on 4. Its going to be hard to use planes with passengers as hostages again...
