Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), appearing on MSNBC’s “Daily Rundown,” suggested that Democrats aren’t negotiating with Republicans out of principle — and out of worry that any capitulation would only embolden the cast-iron conservative wing of the party.

Isn’t this hard, no-compromise position from the Senate going to upset the sainted moderates?
Excuse me?
Isn’t the primary function of Congress all about conducting the nation’s business? I would assume that this implies working as a joint body, no matter what the political affiliation of the individuals.
Or is to get elected, stay elected, and steal as much as possible since there are rarely any consequences for the self-anointed elite?
Obamacare is “TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION.”
Obamacare has nothing to do with care, health or medical treatment.
Obamacare has everything to do with a mandatory insurance that everyone must buy at the point of the Federal gun.
Obamacare Medical Insurance premiums are under the control of the IRS.
These insurance premiums can be raised every year by the IRS with no involvement by Congress.
Thus, all the present and future Democrat rulers have to do is tell the IRS how much taxpayer dollars need to be forcefully extracted from the taxpayers, and the IRS will extract the money for them.
Hence, Obamacare Insurance is “ taxation without representation” that Traitor John Roberts of THE NINE SUPREMES has ruled it to be above the control of the US Congress, and it will stay until Obamacare is ABOLISHED!

Durbin calls Tea Party members “spoiled children” and that parents know you don’t give into them or else it gets worse.
Great! Now the Repubs can take the same position and keep the gov shut down forever!

“The One Word Missing From All Those ObamaCare Ads”:
A recent IBD front page article/editorial was based on the one word that the Obozocare Nazis never mention.
That word is Mandate, where every American is forced or mandated into accepting and paying for ObozoCare.
The main target of the Mandate are the young health Americans not in need of this costly witches brew.
If they are not mandated/forced to join, Obozocare will die on its own.

Why, next thing you know, they will be calling for balanced budgets, sticking to the actual words of the Constitution, rolling back welfare, and when we get into a shooting engagement with misunderstood third-world types, these darned conservatives will be insisting we WIN in these engagements. Even if it means that everybody in America has to learn how to use and keep firearms.
And worst of all, they will actually make things WORK, ending up with destroying all the issues we keep bringing up year after year. How can any fund-raising get done if the problem no longer exists?

I’d call it ironclad.
