This may or may not be true, but the Syrian regime has been running an disinformation/propaganda campaign from the get go and this is an unsourced still photo that doesn’t show anyone being executed. It would not gobsmack me if it were true, but I would take a critical eye to anything coming out from any of the combatants.
The entire culture in the Middle East is based on lies and lying, they simply don’t value the truth like we in the West do. We need to stay out of it.
Reminds me of the silly propaganda campaign foisted on the U.S. public by the Kuwaiti government and their minions among lobbyists in Washington in the months leading up to Operation Desert Storm in 1990.
Everyone I know that pulled triggers and kicked in doors in Iraq told me stories about scenes this. They would find children chained up or family members chained up like this, tortured, usually with executed family members laying near. This is their form of indoctrination.
I don’t find a coincidence that a majority of the fighters in post invasion Iraq and in Syria are foreigners. It’s likely the same people / organizations.
Quite the little actress, isn’t she? Wow, the chains even look real!

Exactly! There are no good sides in this conflict, and there are no vital American national interests at stake. As much as the photo tears at my heart, we cannot fix this. Well, we could conceivably fix it, but it would take far, far more than lobbing a few cruise missiles.
Unless we’re willing to fight wars like we did in WWII, i.e. substantial numbers of boots on the ground, total annihilation of all opposing forces—overwhelming force—and a post combat military occupation similar to MacArthur and the Japanese (none of this crap about letting the Muslims recreate an Islamic state a la Iraq), we’ll continue to lose. None of this is even remotely possible given our current leadership in D.C., and that’s assuming Syria threatened US survival, which it doesn’t.
There are bad things happening to good people all over the globe, and America is not the world’s police. Even if we wanted to stick our noses in everyone’s conflicts, we can’t afford to. George Washington was right when he said we should avoid entangling alliances.
I’d say the same group that is eating the heart’s and liver out of the chests of the Syrian Army is pretty capable of doing a pretty common Al Qaeda tactic.
This should be fact-checked and if true, we the people should fill the sidewalks of the Capitol carrying signs with this image. Don’t let even one of the DC gutter-snipes get past without having to look this little girl in the eyes and see what they are really doing. Don’t let them get from their cushy seats to their beds at night without having it staring them down, haunting their sleep.
