I have said for years that if US politicians really believed in the AGW stuff they would have admitted that it is too late to do anything about it. Rather than carbon capture schemes to generate tax money for their pet constituencies they’d have been advocating that the US build a Sea Wall from Port Isabelle Texas to the Saint Lawrence Seaway and another one down the West coast. If they really think NYC is going to be inundated due to 450 of industrial pollution that is the only response that makes sense. It is too late to reverse the problem at this point.
Because they are not hiring every available Mexican to build that wall anything else they do is simply a scam

I watched a program tonight called World History in Two Hours.
One of the items that had a major influence in the development of mankind was the ice age. Following the ice age, the earth got warmer.
I have no doubt that the earth’s climate changes, the thing I object to is the idea that man can have any effect on the climate (other than locally) or that man can do anything to keep the planet from warming or cooling.
What ever changes will take place in the future will be so slow that mankind will be able to do the one thing that makes us human, adapt.
