Amanpour Explodes at CNN Syria Panel: Stop Spewing ‘False Moral Equivalence!’ (supports Al Qaeda)

CNN Chief International Correspondent Christiane Amanpour flipped out on the AC360 Later Syria panel Thursday night, calling out the “false moral equivalence” of anti-interventionists. She clashed with blogger Andrew Sullivan over the emotion in the case, shouting down her fellow panelists to get a word in edgewise.

After Anderson Cooper and Sullivan brought up the need to separate the emotion from the policy, Amanpour sighed and said, “I can barely contain myself at this point.” She proceeded to go on a rant about the “false moral equivalence” in arguing against going in.

“How many more times do we have to say that weapons of mass destruction were used, and as bad as it is to decapitate somebody, it is by no means equal. We can’t use this false moral equivalence about what’s going on right now. They tried to do it in the second World War, they tried to do it in Bosnia, they tried to do it in Rwanda, and they’re trying to do it now. There is no moral equivalence.”

When the others tried to jump in, Amanpour shouted, “Wait just a second!” She firmly argued that Obama simply cannot allow Assad to get away with using chemical weapons, noting how Bill Clinton is still apologizing for Rwanda. Sullivan jumped in to say, “This is not reason, this is emotion.” Amanpour fired back, “It’s not emotion. This is history coming out.”

They clashed over whether turning away from such terrible crimes is sometimes in America’s national interests, while Charles Blow accused Amanpour of painting a “false choice” about not caring about dead kids and not wanting to bomb Syria. She cried, “Nobody’s saying that! You’re playing rhetorical games!”

We should send chemical weapons to both sides. muslim scum is murdering muslim scum. Yes I know they’re killing Christians too but the winner of this fight is going to keep doing that anyway.

No wonder she never seemed to shed a tear for Daniel Pearl or any of the other hostages that had their heads hacked off in some blithering Jihadi rage.

Despite what anyone might say, she is a MUSLIM just like Obama. She was brought up to disassociate herself from the evil that Muslims do, to condone it at the same time, then turn it around and make Islam the victim.

No matter WHO used the WMDs, that honor goes to whoever is against her diseased Muslim religion, the strictest and most bestial part of it - Muslim Brotherhood and its ilk.

No, there is no moral equivalence....

She leaves me speechless. So it is ok to kill 100,000 innocents by chopping them up with swords, and eating their hearts while they are still beating...

“false moral equivalence”

The press gets so emotional with the mention of “WMD”. I’d rather die quickly by being vaporized by a nuke, or in seat 27B in the back of an airliner flown into a building than have my head slowly sawn off as they did to Daniel Pearl.

Yes, those airliners were “WMDs”

Obamatollah must be proud of her.

The lie was put to moslem savagery the moment Omoslem played checkers for 8 hours while abandoning 35 Americans to die in Benghazi (he didn’t only abandon 4).

Thinking/feeling humans still cannot wrap their minds around how that cold-hearted moslem saboteur sent Americans into a foreign land, denied repeated requests for better security at the Consulate, then dawdled as they begged for reinforcements during the Benghazi attack. Oh, and THEN invented a fantasy story about how Free Speech was the culprit because somebody posted a YouTube video that slammed their camel-god.

All the propaganda in the world is failing to hide Obamatollah’s true allegiance.

Why would we care what any of this so called panel has to say?

Like Amanpour (Born in England and educated in her younger years in IRAN), Obama was also irrevocably indoctrinated to Islam as a boy in Indonesia.

How can anyone watch the Commie News Network?
Lucky for me, it is not even available on my dish.
I have only FOX and Aljazera, but I rarely watch the Muzie news, even though Aljazera does seem to do a professional
job with weather and basic news.
Sadly, I am not even paying much attention to FOX these days.
Everything seems so bleak.

I sure don’t. I can say with pride that I have never watched AC360.

What do you expect from someone who has a painting glorifying 9-11 hanging on the wall of her apartment?

Terrorist-loving bitch, one of many reasons to never again watch CNN.

She says it’s her favorite item in the apartment, because “It gives me joy every time I walk in my door.”

“We should send chemical weapons to both sides. Muslim scum...murdering Muslim scum.”

BOTH the Free Syrian Army (rebels) and Assad's army have chemical weapons already. Assad has not used his, but the rebels have used theirs in order to blame Assad and enlist aid for their cause. After Kerry's gaffe, that was picked up by Putin and Assad, Assad said he's give his over to the Russians. However, the rebels said they would not give up THEIRS. This is very important, though the MSM are ignoring this crucial fact.

Assad does not need chemical to win over the FSA; he's killing them off with conventional weapons. Assad is a bad guy, but he's not suicidal. Assad is a survivor.

The FSA are even worse butchers than Assad's people. America has no national security interest in this Sunni vs. Shi'ite Muslim 1,400 year civil war.

If there is no moral differentiation there are no morals

Christine lives in a leftist world where the taliban, who require women to be tattoed with their husbands names, where the mullahs who hang rebellious teenage girls, where al Qaeda, where the Muslim Brotherhood who torture, kill and burn, are just other political parties who must be accommodated into “democracy”

where North Korea and Iran have a right to build nuclear bombs

just like any other nation

Sounds to me like it was a microcosm of the Syrian Civil War — a bunch of liberals sawing each others’ heads off.

Let ‘em have at it! Just like the muzzies in Syria. Reduce your numbers and damage each other, libs.

Hoe can anyone get joy from a painting of 911, and if that is the painting of 911, it must have been a third grader who painted it.
