Youve fought hard! Youve canvassed neighbors, made phone calls, and drove people to the polls to finally get your candidate elected in 2010. Youre both exhausted and elated to have representation in Congress. Finally, Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, and you just know that youve struck a major blow to the Republican establishment.
Youre sick and tired of politicians using the U.S. Constitution as coasters for their martini glasses. Youre weary of constantly getting raked over the coals by the endless Administrative state, as your liberty vanishes day by day off the surface of the planet. And furthermore, youre exhausted, sitting in a pit and waiting for someone to throw you a rope. So, if its completely apparent that your elected representative isnt willing to execute their Constitutional duty, then youll need to act.
Theres nothing quite as disappointing than to find out your Tea Party candidate is busy doing cookouts on the barbecue grill with Senator John McCain, or worse, busy meeting with President Obama in the Oval Office in a bipartisan effort to get things done when hes not out on the fairway.
You feel as if you have no recourse, but there is recourse. That recourse is listed in Article V of the U.S. Constitution, and its presented beautifully by Mark R. Levin in The Liberty Amendments: Restoring The American Republic...

For example, lets take one of the biggest RINOs out there Senator John McCain. Senator John McCain is one of the biggest abusers of the U.S. Constitution, and one of the biggest senators to turn on his constituents. And yes, he is eligible for recall. In Arizona, the total number of signatures required, are 25 percent of the votes cast in the last election for the official being recalled. So, if Senator McCain got 500,000 votes in the last election, it would take 125,000 signatures in 120 days on the petition presented to the Secretary of State to have him recalled. At the same time, the successors election is held simultaneously.
Are you seeing this, AZ??!!

I wish “Freepers” were a powerful voter group. So many people here truly get it and are so quick, smart, and wise about things. If our votes were numerous enough to matter, maybe we could get rid of the statist Repubs and awestruck Smiths going to Washington and get some people who don’t care about being liked or going to the best parties or getting on liberal talk shows.
All we want is true constitutional representation. Do that for 2-7 years, live clean and pure, vote Nay on everything not enumerated in the constitution, and then go home and engage in any perverted behavior you wish, from tweeting your Weiner to notching your belt with intern orgies. Who cares? Just do your country the service of representing the free American people for a while first.
You’re welcome, sir.
LOL! Thanks for the graphics.
Glad you enjoyed it. This is going to get more detailed as we go along here in talking about the recall process.
:-)
We are a pretty large voting block. It’s just so diverse that it finds itself split among 50 states. The good news is that we have family and friends that may or may not be FReepers that voe.
Total Recall!
“I wish Freepers were a powerful voter group.”
In some ways, we are.
In previous posts, I have urging Freepers to get involved in the 2014 US Senate primary in South Carolina.
Obviously many of us don’t live in South Carolina but a lot of us do know people who live there - people whom we can influence.
We can also write checks. Right now, I’m trying to decide who the most viable GOP candidate will be to challenge Lindsay “Traitor” Graham - and I’ll write a check.
In short, Free Republic’s #1 goal for 2014 should be the defeat of Lindsay Graham. It should be our avowed goal.
Did you know if an election is held and McQueeg is successfully recalled, he doesn’t have to leave? Do you really think he would leave office under those conditions?
Some of us realize that the average voter, even in blue states, is not the same as the DC Beltway. Right now, the Ruling Class is making use of Obama’s cult of personality and uniqueness of being historic. That’s the main reason why they have so much power right now.
The same thing happened with FDR, who also had power despite his sluggish recovery.
FDR led to two constitutional amenmdments, and Obama will lead to even more pro-Origionalist change.
Agreed. But at least we're talking about a strategy on taking it back; rather than the same old, same old. So thanks to Mark, it's an encouraging sign.
