Representative Debbie Wasserman-Schultz ,(D-Fla), chairman of the Democratic National Committee, told CNN host Wolf Blitzer that there are dozens of countries that will stand with Obama and his proposed shot across the bow warning to the Assad Regime.
Pressed to name a few of these hidden allies, Wasserman-Schultz attempted to beg off saying I'm not that good at geography, but I think the list includes Framistan, Lygeria, and France. I hope I don't have to remind everyone of the pivotal role France played as America's first ally during our war for independence back in the 1770s.
While France is a real country, the amount of assistance it will be able to render is questionable. At present, they have no sea-launched missile capability and won't for at least a year. The Congresswoman did point out, though, that France's President Francois Hollande has graciously offered us full access to his country's advanced capability in gourmet cuisine. The tasty sauces and delicious pastries they can supply would help boost the morale of US Forces that will bear the brunt of the actual fighting.
US Secretary of State John Kerry asserted that we have, in-hand, pledges of financial support from Saudi Arabia and Qatar. All we have to do is supply the troops and weapons. In fact, an under appreciated element of this pledge of support is the salutary effect it will have on our budget deficit. We have plenty of firepower. What we're short of is money. Be hiring out some of this firepower we can close the gap between revenue and outlay.

Lygeria ... hee hee. More believable, though, than anything that comes out of her mouth.
Laughable!! He is a coalition of one.
Thanks, John!
Don’t forget Dumbassistan and the Kingdom of Moronica. Using the term “wide spread” in the same article as dws is just wrong.
She forgot the eastern European nation of her birth - Wassermania. They see Zero as a kindred spirit.
This is funny, because all someone has to do is name countries and they will immediately deny it.
“The government of Sweden has come out in favor of an attack on Syria.”
“The government of the Netherlands has come out in favor of an attack on Syria.”
“The government of Belgium has come out in favor of an attack on Syria.”
“The government of Denmark has come out in favor of an attack on Syria.”
If we look at any poll numbers in these countries, I bet they are mostly against attacking Syria!
Well that is pretty well the death knell to the whole venture. Obviously Wasserman-Schultz doesn’t know her history in that Framistan has never supported the winning side in any military excursion. Once they get involved the whole campaign collapses in a shambles.
I know this is satire, and very possibly DWS did not actually refer to “Framistan” or “Lygeria”.
But she is damned near that stupid.
That is not hair on the top of her head. It is nerve ends, acting as antenna to pick up the most recent Groupthink, but sometimes the message gets a little scrambled before it is delivered to the vocal centers and uttered aloud.
and frankly, we deserve it....
he stole elections and then he also got the willingly stupid vote....
s Say President Has Widespread Foreign Backing for Syria Strike.
Michelle Biden and Val what could go wrong?.
Obama is so childish and petty. During a moment of pique at the British several years ago, he sent back a bust of Winston Churchill that had long adorned the Oval Office.
So maybe Obama’s only major ally in his Syrian debacle — French President Francois Hollande — is worried that if he doesn’t continue to support Obama’s Syrian attacks, Obama will get so mad he’ll send back the Statue of Liberty.
And foreign backing is far more important than the backing - or in this case the lack of backing - of the American people? Yes, I realize that this is a John Semmens post, but now satire and news are one.
Framistan, Lygeria? Are these big countries? Superpowers? Never even heard of Framistan.
Oh ... satire? Nevermind.
WOWzerS WOW-WOW. May as well be TEN PEOPLE! Wide spread MOUTH is more like it!
