Teachers required to dress like professionals instead of teenyboppers?

As the 2013 fall semester begins, at least one school district is insisting that t-shirts with inappropriate slogans, mini-skirts and flip-flops be banned from the classroom. Next year bras and underwear will be required under the new dress code.

As expected many teachers werent happy about having to dress appropriately as the school district attempts to improve its culture and environment.

How can you expect children to respect teachers when teachers show no respect for their profession. You can’t dress and act like your students and have them respect your authority.

teachers unions constantly lecture us about how much they should be paid because they are, you know, PROFESSIONALS.
I know a good number of people go into teaching because they love teaching,but when Vietnam hit, and the draft, so many went to college and into teaching because it was an easy way out of getting drafted...and its been downhill ever since....
