Meanwhile, while many look for the Machiavellian reasoning behind the chess-master, the rest of the world looks on and laughs at the fool they clearly see.

I would rather vote no, than lose 1 American life, spend 1 American dollar
or take the live of innocent Syrians. As Palin says, Let Allah sort it out.

I wonder ...

what if the Senate and House passed a resolution voting “no,” but on the condition that the President make the final decision in writing?

Republicans should take a page from the RAT play book and simply vote Present when the time comes, let the RATS vote it up or down...

Mr. President your leadership sucks. I am not supporting you in any battle, much less a war. And get your damned foot off the desk. Where the hell were you brought up?

This is not about regime change, nor war, nor supporting the MB or Assad.

This is about THE GOLD. The REAL GOLD (not the tungsten filled crap that has flooded the market) was being kept hiddin in Ghadaffi’s Libyan National Bank. The consortium of international bankers of the Western Allies had put it there (what we call the FED RES).

Obama went after Ghadaffi with Cruise Missiles to try and convince him to abandon the GOLD. Didn’t Work. Ghadaffi had shipped the GOLD out to a SAFE PLACE, impossible for WESTERN ALLIES to gain access to.

As payment for moving the GOLD and hiding it, we let Ghadaffi be butt-raped and murdered in the streets of Libya. Not just ‘let’, but ARRANGED IT.

So.... where did the GOLD GO ? Well, where is Obama threatening to shoot a bunch of CRUISE MISSILES again ?

SYRIA. It was hidden in Syria, and Obama (as well as leaders of other Western Allies) have been told by the Banking Elite to get it back, or else.

England, France, etc. were involved in this and willing to help, like they did in Libya. However, Obama has made a complete mess of it, and the other Western Allis are backing down for the moment because the citizens of their countries think Obama is an ass, and the mission is stupid, and won’t support it or the politicians tasked with completing it.

So.... Obama is out there by himself, willing to sacrifice Syrians, and US Soldiers to get the GOLD. The game is how to ‘swing it’ so the public supports it.

All the claims about Assad gassing or using biochem weapons are just ways to try and get the nation’s support.

International support keeps dropping, and Obama has to keep calling MULLIGANS.

The problem for us is that sooner or later, it will happen. The Consortium of International Bankers (FED RES), the High Rollers in Finance, and all the politicians who had their GOLD STASH hidden in Libya will have to act or perish.

This is what is happening with Syria, and as I keep saying.... It’s all about the MONEY (in the form of GOLD BARS). It always is.

Voting “present” would send multiple messages, all them in The Won’s face.

There are still enough neocon idiots in congress that will ultimately go with the "we need to do this for the sake of US respect around the world" to make sure this passes.

What a grand opportunity to give Obama a 'No'. This would not only slow down the crazy train heading for Syria, but would also undermine Obama on Obamacare and immigration.

Obama has handed his "opponents" a golden opportunity to turn him into a lame duck president one year into his term.

But of course the Republicans aren't really his opponents, so they will not see this as the grand opportunity it is and once more will let it sift through their hands.

What a bunch of schmucks.

Well, yes. But this wasn’t the original plan. Obama thought he would have Britain and France joining in, like he did in Libya, and perhaps could say once again that the war was being led by NATO, not by HIM. He had David Cameron’s promise to join the party.

But Cameron was surprised by parliament, which voted his war measure down and gave him a real political kick in the pants.

Never mind that he is severely damaging the reputation of the U.S. by this behavior. Never mind that South Korea is now threatened by North Korea, who will not believe Obama’s promises that he’ll make them pay for any attacks on the South. Never mind that Iran will continue developing nuclear weapons, confident that Obama will do nothing to stop them. Never mind that Israel is put at risk.

His only real concern is to shift the political damage off his own image, and lay it on congress—which the press will be happy to help. They’ve had plenty of practice at this one, and Boehner is too damned stupid, or blackmailed, to fight back.

So, backed into a corner, Obama took the best way out—for him. Never mind that he is severely damaging

Obama wants to shift blame.

If we were to go, congress was behind him.

If we stay out, it’s not his fault if things go badly.

Congress should say you went into Libya without our approval. Why is it needed now?

Congress should take a page out of Obama’s playbook and just vote “Present”. Let any action be his and his alone.
