Something thats no the usual. Not an AR, Not 5.56 . . . something interesting:
Just got my Mini back from John at Great West Gunsmithing and wanted to show it off. I know you all like to see your suppressors on unique hosts and I cant find many people that have a SDN-6 on a Ruger Mini in 6.8 SPC. Enjoy the pictures.
I had the barrel cut to 14.5″ and the Blackout FH pinned on. He also remounted the front sight, bedded the action, tuned the trigger, and installed a recoil buffer. Im pleased to say the least, and now Ive got another reason to put rounds through my SDN-6.

Oh No! You posted a picture of a assault rifle on the net! Expect a midnight forced entry by Local and State police, and the ATF shoving full autos in your face.... Oh don’t forget, they’ll shoot your dog first.

the EOTech... or should i say it sure looks like an EOTech, the batteries go in front and the operating controls facing you

It's a nice rig but with the added weight out front I would want a pistol grip behind the trigger.
Had a hankerin' for an AR I could shoot .22lr with using my CMMG stainless drop in. Easy build to put a 16 inch .650 barrel on a Daniel defense upper and drop it all on a New Frontier carbon fiber lower that I ordered from Joe Bob's fully assembled. It's the only gas impingement gun I own now and it will shoot .22lr or 5.56 with merely a change of bolt/carriers. Very lightweight. I even put a thread protector on the barrel end to reduce length and weight out front. Shoots great and was under eight hundred total, not counting the CMMG I already had in a storage pouch with mags and speed loader.

“Ya know? I dont understand the SBR and Suppressor laws.
When was the last time someone used a suppressor in the commission of a crime?
How doe any one conceal that SBR?
Our gun laws are whack.”
The gun laws were never really meant to suppress crime. That was, has been, and is only a pretext.
They gun laws are meant to advance toward citizen disarmament. When you look at them with that in mind, they make perfect sense.

I love the little CMMG conversion, but now you can’t get 22lr LOL

“Flash suppressor?
That looks like a muffler to me.”
The middle picture shows the rifle with the pinned on flash suppressor, which doubles as a mount for the muffler.

I will say that if handgun suppressors were readily available and cheap enough, they’d get used for crime in short order. They would definitely appeal to some criminals.
On the other hand, rifle suppressors should be readily available and used for hunting. They’re already legal for that in many other countries, and some states here (go Texas!).
I may yet get around to buying a suppressed .300 Blackout AR...that’s a nice home defense setup. No sense losing your hearing perforating a home invader...

it also may be a type i'm not familiar with, but the EOTech's i've run across all face the other way...

Well, the original 1930’s ban on full auto was instigated by the bank robbers using full auto weaponry against police using at best lever guns and semi-auto pistols. Of course legislators went too far when they added the ban on useful tools like suppressors. Then as an after thought, they decided to allow each with a special federal tax stamp! I would bet good money that every legislator hiring security people wants them to carry SBRs with select fire, concealed. Vermin

I have taken to shooting Aquila 60 grain super subsonic because it is available and works well for ‘garage’ shooting practice with the little AR and a rimfire bullet trap.

I tried some in the 10/22 and the Mk II, It works fine for me.
Weird little round, but it works.
Great for getting a squirrel without alarming the neighbors.

Just an excuse used by the Criminal FDR regime to advance its “progressive” agenda. Most of the gangster guns were stolen, they were never widely used in crime, and the police had plenty of their own.
It was just a wildly successful attempt to abrogate as much of the Second Amendment as they thought they could get away with. It originally included all pistols in the same category as machine guns, but that was defeated in the house by one vote!
