Something you don’t see every day(Suppressed Mini in 6.8)

Something that’s no the usual. Not an AR, Not 5.56 . . . something interesting:

“Just got my Mini back from John at Great West Gunsmithing and wanted to show it off.  I know you all like to see your suppressors on unique hosts and I can’t find many people that have a SDN-6 on a Ruger Mini in 6.8 SPC.  Enjoy the pictures.

I had the barrel cut to 14.5″ and the Blackout FH pinned on.  He also remounted the front sight, bedded the action, tuned the trigger, and installed a recoil buffer.  I’m pleased to say the least, and now I’ve got another reason to put rounds through my SDN-6.”

If we did not have the insane federal short barreled rifle and gun muffler laws, you could buy things like this from the factory for under a thousand.

I always liked the Mini 14, but the AR15 is much more versatile.

Finally some good news for today. Sweet. Is that a magnaflow on the front of the barrel? LOL! That is truly a piece of art. Even if it is evil and black.

LOL! If I wanted to do that to my Mini I’d have to come out of retirement and get a job.

Actually, he did not need any additional stamps.

The pinned flash suppressor makes the barrel over 16 inches, thus legal without a stamp.

It appears that he already owned the suppressor.

I wonder about its balance and handling. I would be very interested to see its “test driving” reviews from some experts.

Ya know? I don’t understand the SBR and Suppressor laws.

When was the last time someone used a suppressor in the commission of a crime?

How doe any one conceal that SBR?

Our gun laws are whack.

I have a C96 mauser, and I think it is ridiculous that I need a class III stamp to slide a stock onto it.
