It's a nice rig but with the added weight out front I would want a pistol grip behind the trigger.

Had a hankerin' for an AR I could shoot .22lr with using my CMMG stainless drop in. Easy build to put a 16 inch .650 barrel on a Daniel defense upper and drop it all on a New Frontier carbon fiber lower that I ordered from Joe Bob's fully assembled. It's the only gas impingement gun I own now and it will shoot .22lr or 5.56 with merely a change of bolt/carriers. Very lightweight. I even put a thread protector on the barrel end to reduce length and weight out front. Shoots great and was under eight hundred total, not counting the CMMG I already had in a storage pouch with mags and speed loader.
