Military Thought Police: Can’t Say Homosexual Behavior is a Sin
American Clarion ^ | August 6, 2013 | Bob Ellis

Posted on 08/06/2013 6:50:55 PM PDT by WXRGina

Once more we learn of military personnel being punished for causing homosexuals in the military to feel bad.

From Fox News:

An Army chaplain’s assistant said she was accused of creating a “hostile and antagonistic” environment after she posted a message on her personal Facebook page calling homosexuality a sin.

The soldier, who asked not to be identified, said her commander ordered her to either remove the Facebook message or face a reduction in rank and pay.

“I haven’t taken it down and I won’t take it down,” she told Fox News. “It is frustrating that people are trying to silence me – for something that I believe in. We fight for the freedom that I can’t enjoy right now. That’s not right.”

The soldier, who is an evangelical Christian, said she returned home from church on Sunday and was watching a documentary about a minister who endorsed homosexuality.

“I was frustrated with what I saw so I posted a Facebook message about it,” she said.

So while it seems homosexuals now have a “right” to be open about their immoral sexual behavior, good military servicemen and women no longer have the First Amendment-protected right of freedom of religious expression. Interesting…but not surprising.

I spent 10 years in the military, and I was a law enforcement specialist charged with enforcing military law, so I think I’m a pretty good judge of what is right and legal in the military. During my service, it was legal in the military to get drunk (as long as you didn’t break any laws in connection with that drunkenness). There were plenty of people in the military who believed getting drunk was a sin, and some of them said so. I don’t recall a single drunk claiming that for someone to say being drunk was a sin, this created “an environment that was both hostile and antagonistic.” I don’t recall a single time when a person of character stated that a bad behavior was wrong, and the person of character was reprimanded for pointing to a high standard of moral excellence.

Now, not only must military personnel of good character tolerate open homosexuality in our armed forces, they cannot even repeat what the Bible says about it.

Apparently, once again, homosexual activists get special rights. It isn’t enough to merely be allowed to be open about sodomizing one another within the ranks of the military; no one must be allowed to say anything critical of this behavior.

Many of us knew even before a Democrat Congress and White House forced this on the military that it would create a hostile environment for anyone who believes in sexual morality and normality. It was clear, and liberals went to extra lengths to make it clear, that in a conflict between moral and immoral people, the military leadership preferred the immoral over the moral.

As is always the case, two diametrically opposed value systems can never and will never be able to peacefully coexist. One will naturally dominate, and unless the morally superior one possesses resolve, the morally inferior one will usually employ any means necessary to subjugate the other one.

As the Boy Scouts are in the process of learning, compromising with and capitulating to homosexual activists looks a lot like the European powers of the 1930s trying to “be reasonable” with Adolf Hitler. “If we give you this, you’ll be satisfied, right? Oh, you want that, too? Okay…now you want this other…okay…and now you want…” Get the picture?

In other words, evil cannot and will not be appeased. It has an insatiable hunger to have 100% of its own way and to crush anything that is not in complete agreement with it.

If good people don’t rise up and demand an end to this right away, we will all be very, very sorry before long.

For over 225 years faggotry was considered a perversion by the military. George Washington drummed them out of the service, and We were read the riot act of homosexuality each year and had to sign papers showing we had been read to.

Now suddenly it is all pansys and daisys in the military.

But it is still an unnatural perversion.

... and always will be, even if the whole world goes nuts and accepts it. Let God be true and every man a liar. Amen.

The fact that human homosexuality renders a socio-biological/reproductive fitness of ZERO - is biological and not religious in nature.

You left out the “o” in God. “God” is not a profane word that needs censoring.

Are they at least allowed to say it is a disgustingly depraved manifestation of mental illness?

That should at least sound non-judgemental, or something......

Some faiths believe the name of God is precious and shouldn’t be used cavalierly. I don’t think the poster intended to treat the name disrespectfully.

I do this out of deference to our Jewish contingent on FR. Even though I am a Christian, I come from a strong Jewish ancestry and wish to honor their traditions. If this offends you, sorry ... no offense intended.

What’s a “FAIL”? What the heck are you talking about?

Who do you think made the world and all of “natural law”? Do you think man just “dreamed up” morality? And who is behind the physical laws of the universe? Do you not see that the One who created everything is behind all biological laws and reality, but man’s sin is what has perverted all of creation?

Now, if you’re saying that animals—ANIMALS—demonstrate homosexual behavior from time to time, what does that mean? What does that have to do with people, who are on an order, mentally, physiclly and spiritually, infinitely higher than the animals?

Are you defending homosexuality in our military?

Forgive me if I misinterpreted you bizarre “FAIL” statement.

Don’t forget 1 Timothy 1:8-11-

“Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.”

What is sin and what isn’t is not up to the military, or me, or homosexuals, or judges and politicians. It has been determined by God. Attitudes about homosexuality, especially the bad ones, have been a natural part of human thinking for thousands of years. Would the military punish a soldier for saying adultery is a sin, or cowardice? These policies need to be challenged. Good for this fine young woman and soldier, and shame on the cowards who are persecuting her.

The FAIL is in the homosexual assertion that there were ever "gay" penguins in the San Francisco zoo.

What the postgenderest/transhumanists like to misrepresent as homosexuality among animals, is typically nothing more than social cooperation among same-sexed members of the same species who, given the opportunity, will procreate with a member of the opposite sex.

Even if it’s ONLY your opinion, you have a right to it in the USA. Sticking it up others’ noses is not included. But where does it say you have to “celebrate” poop eating ?

So basically, you stick two male penguins in a cage together, they might go “gay for the stay”, like prison inmates?

That's evidently how it worked out in the San Fransisco zoo.

If you watch “The March of the Penguins” IIRC, you'll see examples of male penguins cooperating in the wild to care for an egg that has lost it's mother.

But that's not homosexuality, it's social cooperation.

When I had the brief opportunity to talk to Sarah Hrdy at the Nobel Conference on the Evolution of Sex back circa 1987(?) — I asked her if she'd observed homosexual behavior among the chimps she'd studied.

She said NO.

This manufacturing of “homosexual” behavior among wild animals came some time after that.

It's social cooperation, not rainbow homosexuality. That's what I think.
