Yeah, darn good thing Republicans control the House. Good thing Issa is all over this! It’s been almost a YEAR now and it appears we are still no further down the investigative road than when we were when this thing forst unfolded. Tell me again, why is it important to have Republicans control anything — at all?
But we knew this, didn’t we? Obama was holed up (no pun intended) with Reggie Love or some other boyfriend and was incommunicado, either because he was too drugged during the night to respond or because he was too immersed in his activities. Valerie always takes command when the One is busy. If Obama had been doing anything relevant to the attack the White House would have said so, but it has been silent on the precise nature of his actions that night.
If it had been at Tripoli, no Cross Border Authority would have been needed.

Who didn’t know this? Mysteriously absent before, during and campaigning Vegas after, the Benghazi affair and always the White House would be Valerie Jarrett.
Although HRC was dancing to some kind of marching orders that cost the life of her own ambassador. She knew exactly what was going down
as it was on live video in the basement of her own department. She chose to see no evil, hear no evil and went under the mattresses for cover.

If Obama wasn’t in the Situation Room, no one was there to issue the cross-border action permission.
You could characterize this absence during the crises as a ‘pocket veto’. If you don’t get an affirmative ‘go’ order from the CIC, then you have no authority to order any military units to engage the enemy.
Obama needed his rest since he was due in Vegas the next day for a fund raiser. So he probably sent Jarrett to keep an eye on things and let him know when the US personnel were KIA.
I turned on Rush this morning and heard him say this ... and I started jumping up and down yelling, “I KNEW that woman did it! I knew she was up to her ears in this!” My kids thought I was crazy! Can’t imagine why. ;o)
