Not just high school. Heard any interviews with college athletes lately? They can’t even speak English.
A recognize a bit of my old high school in this. Not to this extreme as it was 20 years ago, and a far different world.
Even with the extremely negative influence of Gangsta rap at the time, there was still a pull of civility because the adults were from the Depression and WW2 generation, so things were never allowed to go this far down the gutter. You had knuckleheads flaunting ghetto culture, and we did have security guards mostly for just light stuff like being hall monitors, but it was still a time where a girl becoming pregnant was a huge deal (one did and she was taken out to go to an alternative school), or getting into a fight was a sign of being trash. Also, there was an actual stigma to being in a remedial class. It was, in hindsight, a far desirable place to have been than what the same school I attended had become.
Time for the two parent family among blacks. I’m starting to doubt this will ever happen with Lefties in power.

You also very rarely see black people in the national parks.
One of the interesting things I’ve noticed among NFL teams is that a lot of them are drafting college players who are black, but not “American” in a purely objective sense. Look how many NFL players you see with foreign-sounding names who are the children of immigrants or are even immigrants themselves.

Thank you. But the commendation should go to the majority of students in such schools, the ones that are just trying to get an education.

Very true. And let me add one more thing. Principals need to have the freedom to remove disruptive students. Get disruptive students away from the students who want to learn.

It would more helpful if you would pick specific observations from the essay and prove they don’t occur. Or, demonstrate the technique of propoganda by which the writer falsifies reality. Otherwise, all we have is his “does” and your “does not”.
Survival in a modern division of labor free society requires rationality and acquisition of knowledge. If blacks are unable or unwilling to follow reason and acquire knowledge, they are doomed to a future of poverty and parasitism.
I spent a semester in an “at risk” middle school teaching sixth graders for about 90 minutes once a week. Mostly black and hispanic kids, a few whites thrown in as well. I loved my kids and we ultimately did some good stuff together. But the basics of what this guy said are true. My sixth graders were not yet young adults like the high schoolers being described here are. They’re not just as big, strong, or as far removed from the childhood years. But you could not get them to sit still or be quiet unless you gave them a very handson task to do. And you could see that most were heading for the future laid out here. I would not have written the same essay that this guy wrote but I could have written one that resonated in many ways with what is here. I think the big difference that I would say is that all my kids save one had good hearts. The one exception was a kid that my sources told me had a dad that was high up in the gangs. One day this kid spent 20 minutes doing nothing but tossing a padlock up in the air and catching it. He dared me to grab him physically because they know how THAT game is played. I had one kid go out a first story window during class (different kid).
The one thing I learned is that until you have spent some time in a classroom either like mine or like the author’s - you have NO IDEA of what goes on - and all the usual ideas that get tossed about more this, more that, less this, less that, are at best, delusional.

Black Americans have been poisoned of minds and souls. Not all but far too many. Wish we could do an even up swap-— an African born black for an American born one. I find African born blacks are much better and nicer people overall vs America’s brand—(generally speaking)
We indeed are products of our enviroments to a large extent.
Democrats of old bought their slaves using their own money.
Present day Democrats buy their slaves with taxpayer money.
