In case you’re still shocked by the prosecutorial malfeasance in this country - most recently on display in Sanford, Florida – perhaps I can help. It is partially related to our dwindling interest in “Truth, Justice and the American Way.”
Today we’re focusing on the “truth” part; apparently we’re to take it with a grain of salt from now on.

In order to continue we must concede to this basic truth: your government lies to you. Shocking, I know, butt true. They don’t lie with maliciousness, or at least they never use to; they just thought they knew what was best for us. They still do – think they know better than us - butt I’m no longer comfortable addressing the “with malice” part.
As proof of the ongoing campaign of lies I submit this recent revelation: after years of harping at us, the truth about salt has finally been revealed. As it turns out, salt is NOT bad for you!

In fact, it’s too little salt that could kill you. Sacré bleu!? Aside from real scientists and skeptics who could have seen that coming?

I will be looking into this. I just ordered a Himalayan salt inhaler for our daughter. She has had two extremely bad asthma episodes, both with hospital stays, with no other asthmatic symptoms at all. It’s very strange and very frightening.

He lived to 2 months short of his 93rd birthday.
Worked his farm up until 4 months before he died.
I made a comment to him once, that it must be great to have lived so long. His response was , that everyone he knew growing up through the years was gone. I had never realized until then, that every time there was a gathering and that he was with other "old" people, those "old" people were 20-30 years younger than him.
I think if he would have heard that every time you ate something it would take years off your life, he would have sat right down and started eating, asking for a double portion.

I love those salt slabs! Wish I had one.They are great. We're in the market for a new one because we use ours a lot (it's now less than an inch in thickness). We have no couch, comfy chairs, or stuff like that, BUT we do have a rockin' salt slab... -lol-
