The substance of research was prodded by with this graphic of unknown attribution, dealing with the possibility that Trayvon Martin was not only an illegal drug-user, but possibly a drug-dealer. (Large file version here). While the “graphic” itself is unattributed, the content within the graphic was easy, at the time, to confirm with a quick review of Trayvon’s Facebook page and extensive work already done by the TreeHouse and multiple websites including Wagist.

Go ahead and review the whole thing, because while it most certainly is “controversial” it is also a good substantive fact-based background in Trayvon’s own words. But, again it is only background, and more information is needed for the rest of this discussion. We will highlight some sections of it, from Trayvon Martin’s own words, throughout this explanation because it speaks to a “directional sense” in the lifestyle of an evolving teenager.

As I use these Facebook discussions from Trayvon I’m going to correct the ebonics unless it seems necessary to reference directly to the source. Otherwise I’ll do my best to interpret it into something people unfamiliar with nuance within a “cultural language” can understand.

Learn something new every day. It makes me furious how many news programs have showed the “sweet, innocent” pictures of Trayvon but not his ghetto wannabe gangbanger pics. No agenda there.

If only half of what I've seen about Saint Trayvon is accurate I think it's reasonable to strongly suspect that he was a worthless punk-in-the-making or had even reached “finished product” status.

Timeline question:

Per the dispatcher transcripts, the time elapsed between when George said “He’s running”, and the end of his call with the dispatcher is 1:59.

So, Martin had at least 1:59 to outrun Zimmerman....probably more, but undeniably 1:59.

I measure 530 feet from Zimmerman’s truck to the condo Martin was staying at.

The average walking speed of a young person (per Wikipedia) is 3.31 mph - 3.37 mph.

But Martin had enough time to walk at a liesurely 3.04 mph, and make it home. Jogging or sprinting, of course, would get him there even quicker.

Doesn’t this show that Martin didn’t want to go home...but lingered outdoors, setting up a confrontation wiith Zimmerman?

Another post at CTH a year ago documented very clearly that TM either waited in the bushes or more likely doubled back from the house to jump GZ. If the defense needs to put on a case, I’m sure we’ll see it posted here at some point.

My speculation:

Martin was checking out some apartments, to see what he could steal (stolen jewelry didn’t just magiaclly appear in his bag at school...he gets it from somewhere). He got spooked by Zimmerman, and ran.

The the lovely Ms. DeeDee criticized him for not taking care of the crazy ass cracker.

Well, the budding street fighter and drug dealer, Travon, couldn’t hurt his rep like that.

So he went back and ‘started something’ with Zimmerman.

If one can believe the testimony of Miss Double Wide Neck - Martin did in fact make it to father’s girlfriend;s home. Only to leave and pursue Zimmerman so he could attempt to murder him.
