A large fleet container ship named the Mol Comfort was carrying weapons from the U.S. to the FSA Rebels in Syria when it suddenly split in half in the Indian Ocean and sank, as it was making its way from Singapore to Jeddah. On board were 4,500 containers loaded with U.S. arms for the Syrian rebels.
The cause for this sudden accident is still being reported publicly as unknown.
As more news becomes available from Syria, it will be reported here.
That was my first thought as well, if true.
There were no arms on this ship. Its a fake story. Also going around facebook as well.
I wish this were true, but I suspect it’s not. Hard to imagine we would be shipping arms from Mumbai, and that we would allow a ship loaded with weapons to be unescorted (or allow anyone to get close enough to take pictures like these).
There is a God in heaven!
(and he rules in the affairs of men, as Nebuchadnezzar said)
>> “Russians? Or Iranians?” <<
Yehova!
The fact that a ship that large split in two on the high seas would have been interesting enough. No need for the fabrication of a story.
What the heck does Saudi Arabia export besides oil and jihadis? (Not giving you grief, just curious.)
Another project conceived and managed by a foreign community organizer.
Yes, MOL has built some beasts. So is China Shipping, Cosco Shipping, and Maersk. They are getting into the 16.5K TEU range, and 1,100 feet in length. They now have to get wider and deeper because much more than that length and the wave period would require much stronger scantlings to cope with the stresses.

It’s sort of interesting how you often get two different threads out of one thread.
There’s one smaller thread in this of people who have some idea of what they’re talking about, are providing actual information of value, who have done a bit of research on their own about the incident.
Then there is a larger thread of ranting idiots who just read the headline of the thread and keep posting feeble attempts at humor, blissfully oblivious to all the posts of the people on the “other” thread within this thread.
so long as they’re killing each other, I’m happy to give them the supplies to keep doing so.
Awwwww,, I love a happy ending.
They’re doing a pretty good job now. Some day they’ll turn those new weapons against us.
You think that won’t happen regardless of what we do or don’t do? Very naive of you if you do. No, when your enemies are fighting amongst themselves, it is most desirable to keep them doing that for as long as possible. We can manage the fallout later.
There’s an old saying, “When your enemies are killing each other, get out of the way.”
Doesn’t say anything about giving them more weapons to use against us.
You worry too much.
Bumpity Bump. When the replies reach 100, will Laz reply?
What will he say to all the speculation over this thread?
You and I both know another ship is probably being/already loaded and on the way. No way 0traitor is going to let his murderous, subhumnan filth muslim buddies do without the very best US weapons/ammo.
Gilligan is headed to Tanzania, just to check it out!
