Do you feel safe from tyrannical regimes of the middle-east who wish to take away your freedom now that we have tyrannical Ayatollah Obama to protect us from them. Treachery against the citizens of the United States of America and the abrogation of our constitutional rights is so much more palatable when done by one so charming. It makes all the difference.
(Video below column at TableOfWisdom.com)
i can’t point to a particular MTP program,
but many x’s Mr. Russert displayed his left wing tendencies/hypocrisies.
it annoys me when i see him held up as
some example of excellent journalism...
His name was ‘Tim’, not ‘Time’. Table of Wisdom? Indeed!

Me , too .
Frankly, I think a major reason these guys all write the same garbage is because their wives/boyfriends want to attend the best cocktail parties. If you put them in a box and fed them the facts without knowledge of who the facts were about, they’d be (I hope) outraged and maybe write some truth.
The only investigating the press does is with each other in bed.
If only Tim was here to explain how it is all Scooter Libby’s fault!
Sigh, if only I could’ve saved Time in a bottle.
Russert was a leftist with a father that would shame him into trying to appear objective.
Yes, he was a leftist jerk.
I suspect you are correct in your assessment of Russert which may well be why he is where he is now and why jerks like Chrissy can’t get their lips off Bozo’s hemorrhoids.
And for the fascists at NSA, you had best hope you didn’t miss anything when you get around to “rounding me up”. It could be a bad day fer some...
Table of Wisdom???
I don’t have “Time” for this right now....
lol
Same here, I missed whatever nuance was supposed to have differentiated him from the rest of his liberal pack.
I watched Russert. While he certainly was not Tea Party, he also would hit-up Dems with stuff from their past that they, even, likely had forgotten. HE NAILED THEM. Of course he’d do the same to our side, but we’re not nearly as two-faced as them, so it was not very effective.
If Tim Russert was Still Living...
He would be posting on the undead thread

...he rolled over for Fitz, after all....

W: Do you recall appearing on the Imus show the morning of the 28th?
T: (meekly) No.

Fitz objects: "If we're going to read it, let's read it accurately." Sidebar.

W: Do you recall whether the Today show reported that Libby would be

T: (yes to all)
W: If Ann Curry had reported this on the Today show, would you know about it, based on pattern and practice?
T: This is credited to the NY Times, so not if we didn't have the story.
W: But this was a big story, right? And Pete Williams discus
T: That morning, no.
W: This could have happened without you knowing?
T: If I'm away, or working on something else, or another big story… I don't know.
W: Remember the phrase "first time in a hundred years"?
T: No.

T: Yes.
W: So you don't recall
T: No. I do recall watching (Fitzgerald) news conference and discussing it with Brian Williams. (is shown Today show transcript) I don't recall this, sorry.
W: You read NY Times every day, right? Washington Post?
T: Yes.
W: Fair to say if they had stories saying Libby was to be indicted, you would have read that?
T: Yes.
W: (shows news stories) Does this refresh your memory, is it fair to say you were aware of stories saying Libby would have been indicted?
T: I may well have been.
W: Given your personal involvement… you have no recollection of that day?

W: Do you have a bad memory?
T: No.
