At the center of this dispute between Russia and the US, this MNRE report says, is the “undisputed evidence” that a class of neuro-active insecticides chemically related to nicotine, known as neonicotinoids, are destroying our planets bee population, and which if left unchecked could destroy our world’s ability to grow enough food to feed its population.

Russian scientists are equal to ours... this issue needs to be looked at. And while they're at it, I'd like to know why American have more problems with allergies than any other group in the world.

Is Monsanto a mega donators to the democrat party?

What part do you think is fabricated? It is true bee populations are declining, not sure if anyone has proof of why bee populations are declining. Most believe it has to do with pesticides or insecticides. There is a growing group of farmers and others that think genetically altered seeds are the cause. This is the connection to Monsanto that is being made.

Don’t know but, I haven’t heard about this around farmland and that is where I would be concerned.

I think Putin making a big deal of this has something to do with the fact that apiculture is big in Russian culture. A lot of people have little summer gardens and beekeeping is a popular hobby.

I’m not taking a position yet.

Not enough data. For me. That is all I am saying now.

Sorry it may have seemed otherwise.

As a point of observation, the interlocking circles graphic in the article is graphic from some site called geke.us

You cannot read what is there without saving as a jpeg and zooming and even then not well. And it is interesting to say the least, if true— and not a workup by occupy or anonymice.

Link to a cleaner graphic at GEKE: http://www.geke.us/MonsantoVenn.html

Link to all of the Venn diagrams at GEKE:http://www.geke.us/VennDiagrams.html

What IS truly of interest is the line “US Senator (D) Sec. State (obama)—— Hillary Clinton” and under the Monsanto Column it states “ROSE LAW FIRM, Monsanto Counsel”

What you see in all this imho is the continuing linkage of democrat/rino globalist money to the tyranny of an obamaomau presidency and the “payoff” coming to the next crowned nightmare— ms. hillary.

It is NOT just the Russians that have noticed this bee problem (aside from know parasite disorders- bee mites, etc)—it is the US Beekeepers and every nations society. The neonicotinoids (am a biochemist, btw) are deadly to bees, which are essential to ALL fruiting crops. And it isn’t just Monsanto, it is Syngenta, Dow... and Bayer (of IG Farben fame). Never confuse “conservative” like behaviour with conservative true values. This is absolutely a threat to world survival, and not some greenie commie driven issue. It is happening.

Few know that until they were imported, there were no honey bees in America.

Bumble bees are the native bee in America and used to do all the plant pollination.

Read something recently where a bee guy had all his hives destroyed and queens killed because he had bred Roundup resistant bees.

Monsanto has had a lot of rather interesting court rulings.

Basically, they are moving toward taking control of the food supply.

"In the late 1990′s, bee biologists started to notice a decline in the abundance and distribution of several wild bumble bee species. Five of these species (western bumble bee, rusty patched bumble bee, yellowbanded bumble bee and the American bumble bee) were once very common and important crop pollinators over their ranges. Franklin’s bumble bee was historically found only in a small area in southern Oregon and northern California, and it may now be extinct.

Recent research indicates that additional species of bumble bees may be in decline. Wild bumble bees face many threats including habitat alteration, pesticide use, management practices, and pathogens. Recent reports are troubling

They really seem to want to control the food supply.
They DON’T need the money - there’s another agenda.

All I know is here in NE ohio I had two brand new honey bee nests last year in my li’l suburban yard. One didn’t survive the winter, but the other did. I kill the hornets/yellow jackets/wasps that show up but I’ve told the family the honey bees and bumble bees are off limits.

This is all Agenda 21 folks. They want to reduce the world population and how do you do that? Control the food supply.
