Sometimes when people on the Left talk about dog whistles, it seems far too forced. However, there are occasional times when you can see a clear subliminal message underlying the overt one.
Take the contested Massachusetts Senate race that pits 38 year veteran of Congress Ed Markey against former Navy SEAL Gabriel Gomez. Gomez rejects many of the gun control arguments, including the ban on high capacity magazines.

Heck, I’d vote against the representative of the Democratic [sic] party just for that advertisement alone.
Navy SEAL Gabriel Gomez. Gomez rejects many of the gun control arguments, including the ban on high capacity magazines.
Good for him.
It looks like the woodchucks in Massachusetts aren’t very fond of US Navy SEALs.
Especially HISPANIC US Navy SEALs. They’re a lot like their messiah, Barry Soetoro.
Disgusting. Markey might be too nutty even for Mass.
If the Repubs had any wits they would take this ad and run it split screen with Obama after Gabby Giffords was shot: “its important for us to pause for a moment and make sure that were talking with each other in a way that heals, not in a way that wounds.”
After the way Steven Miller whined about the “pejorative” word “targeted” today it just shows the utter lying hypocrisy of the liberals.
Red below and you can see the problem we have with Republicans in Mass. Gomez wrote a letter to Gov. Deval Patrick asking to be appointed to Sen Kerry's vacant seat.
BOSTON Massachusetts Republican U.S. Sen. candidate Gabriel Gomez touted his past support of Democratic President Barack Obama and said he backed Obama's positions on gun control and immigration reform in a January letter to Gov. Deval Patrick.

In that letter, Gomez said he supported Obama in 2008 and pledged to support the presidents positions on gun control and immigration in the Senate. Gomez also argued that, instead of delivering a blow to Obamas agenda, his service in the Senate would be good for the Democrats as well, since it is in everyones interest to have the two parties at the negotiating table.
I looked around and found the original video that the gun footage was taken from...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3_H6kgoR6M
The clip that was used starts at around 2:21.
I notified the video’s owner that someone might have infringed on his copyright and sent him the Markey video and instructions for filing a copyright claim against them through YouTube.
At the very least, it appears that the Markey campaign downloaded the video to use in their ad...a no-no as far as YouTube is concerned.
That's why the majority of that state has no problem with letting four Americans be slaughtered in Benghazi as long as the election brings more Obama.
Is it any surprise that Massa2shits really is different from us?
Any MA GOP Pol is somewhere left of many dems in Red States.
That's incorrect. Scott Brown had an ACU rating of 74%*. The highest ranked Southern Democrat had an ACU rating of 38%. Zell Miller was the last of the conservative Southern Democrats. They are extinct at the Federal level.
* That was probably why he lost to Elizabeth Warren. He talked like a liberal but voted conservative on most issues. Brown was basically too right-wing for MA.
Thanks therightliveswithus.
Thanks Civ
If the Conservatives ran an ad with Oh Bambi! having a rifle fired at his head on split screen, the world would explode before they got done hysterically vilifying and sending the IRS to tyrannize and persecute those “responsible.”
Hypocritical [unladylike word]s!
