Need some freeper help and knowledge. My sister is moving to Costa Mesa CA from Cave Creek AZ. She and her family love Arizona but because of a job situation she must move to California. She is uptight about moving and I would like any freepers to let me know good things about the area, or any inside info to help calm her fears and give her something to look forward to. I know the taxes are too high, too many illegal’s, too many liberals so fill me in on good news.
I am sure that will liven her up

I am surprised there are any conservative areas in California. I guess its like fort Apache surrounded by natives wanting to take your stuff. I’ll mention Balboa Island to her.
I worked in Costa Mesa and lived in Huntington Beach. There are some nice areas in CM but there are some really bad areas. Hope she is able to find affordable housing in a safe area.
Well let’s see, she is unemployed now and running out of her separation pay so 35% more of $0 would be? Seriously she makes a good salary so slightly lower standard of living from before, but better than unemployment.
He is not a gun guy but electronics is definitely his bag. He will approve.
Can I guess that means there isn’t a stray cat problem there either? I have never heard them brag about the Chinese food in Arizona.

You don’t have to tell me I live in New York in Putnam county one of the few conservative counties. I often feel like Dr. Miles Bennel from “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”

She is making a decent salary so it will be OK. It is the one offer that came thru so she doesn’t have much choice. We grew up on Long Island so traffic will remind her of home.
