When an American convert to Islam was revealed as the wife of the dead Boston bombing suspect, Lauren Schreiber wasnt surprised at what came next. Comments from former acquaintances and complete strangers immediately suggested that 24-year-old Katherine Russell, a New England doctors daughter, must have been coerced and controlled by her husband, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who died last week in a firefight with police.

Google fashion maven Naomi “Earth Tones for Algore” Wolf about how her putting on a burka made her feel “liberated” because she was now no longer subjected to the “male gaze”.
H***, at her age she was no longer subjected to the male gaze anyway. Typical lefty ditz.
Not brainwashed, just stupid.
Reocovering NOW activists?
Every one is a potential terrorist or terrorist enabler. The FBI need to watch them.
Yep.
Go ahead & try to quit.
Tools required:
(1) Three Pound Sledgehammer.
(1) Disposable Cell Phone
Operation Name: Expose The Truth
Date:
May 2 (Anniversary of Bin Laden death).
Action:
Use hammer to break door of local Mosque, upper corner opposite hinge side. One solid swing should be enough to set off entry alarm. Leave site...DO NOT ENTER.
Use phone to call local police and claim you have planted a device in the Mosque. Sound a bit crazy, you need to sell it.
Destroy phone.
The plan needs to be executed throughout out the country on the same date.
The police will have no choice but to enter the building to inspect for explosive devices.
If none are found across the nation, then we should rethink our distrust of them.
However, it is far more likely that all across the country, caches of weapons and ordnance will be found.
All members of the infringing Mosques can be deported as suspected terrorists.
Either way, good or bad, the truth will then be exposed.
It’s because the Moonies have quit recruiting brain-dead females to be used as their slaves, and they have to go to some OTHER cult that totally controls their lives instead.
I think, in part, mistaught Christianity, which teaches that men should be wussies to emulate Christ, is in part responsible for this.
When I became a Christian in 1981 I attended an AG church. My then wife and I attended a “young marrieds” class which eventually became the “young family” class. I attended for 18 years, leaving because of my divorce.
The class emasculated men. At first I was ok with it because I was just accepting everything they taught. But the more I studied the word the more I had a problem with it.
Finally, one day, one of the guys stood up and confessed that he had been a bad husband and had ruled his family like a tyrant. It was pretty interesting. When he was done talking, I stood up and said, and I paraphrase, the bible teaches that the man is to be the strong leader. He is to make the tough decisions and take the responsibility and bear the brunt of the fallout from the bad decisions.
I further said that most of the men in the class, including me, had the opposite problem of the guy that had just spoken. That is, we defer the authority to our wife, leaving her with the tough decisions and expose her, unprotected, to the fallout, and this violates the very word of God regarding teaching of the roles of the man and woman in a marriage.
I posed a situation to the class, if the husband and wife are driving in the car and they come to a Y in the road, and, after discussing it, the husband wants to turn left, but the wife wants to turn right. If they are a Godly marriage, which way do they tur?
As one, the commenters said they needed to continue discussing. I said the turn is now right in front of you. You either turn left, right, or plow into the barrier. Which way do you turn? I short circuited most of the brains in the room. Almost NOBODY could respond, though some suggested that a man wants to please his wife so they should turn right.
I said NO! The man is responsible for the decision and bears the weight of it, be it right or wrong. The correct answer is that they turn left. I further clarified that the man that firmly believes he should turn left but turns right to please his wife has done her a terrible disservice. The reasons are legion and for another post.
On a side note, virtually every woman in the room was staring daggars at me, though nobody could argue against my point.
It’s like arguing against the teetotalers in my Kentucky baptist church now. They can’t support their position but they stand by it strongly. Oy.
All it will take is one celebrity in their prime coupled an advertising campaign, movies and pictures of thousands bowing and it will sweep the country. Some time during the next ten years.
For the mystic does not the Book Of Revelations mention a "little book" which raises the question is that "little book" the Koran?
>>>She grew up in an agnostic family where she was encouraged to discover her own faith.>>>
Same old story. Don’t teach them about religion, and they’ll choose their own. I wonder how many of them choose well.
This could very well be why of the mass growth of the Christian in the global south nations at the present time because there is where the present and future missionaries are coming from, the global south and from there to the west and the rest of the world.
Mistaught and improperly practiced! Why else would a hellbound cult have any influence?
The structure part is, I think, why it is popular (especially with the black population) in prison.
Could be a flaw here. Around Northern Virginia all the mosques are under surveillance.
***He was a stay at home ‘dad’ and she worked 70-80 hours/week***
‘nuff said.
Is the above mentioed "little book" which is "honey" to the mouh but "bitter to the belly" the Koran?
There always has been and likely will be a percentage of the population that WANTS to feel like a victim. Of these, there is a smaller population that WANTS to be dominated, push around, perhaps even slapped around and humiliated.
There are also people who just have a need to be different. They adopt dress and behaviors that mark them out from the majority in order to feel superior or above it all or perhaps it is an attempt to legitimize their own feelings of isolation.
Others seem to crave some sort of legalistic coercion. They may see it as *structure*. And it may just give them a context in which to fight off innate anti-social compunctions.
It can be any cult, within or apart from a major religious
group.
I concur. I can only think of one time during my 26 year marriage that my own rather indulgent husband made a decision contrary to how I "felt". It was an emotional and weighty issue with consequences that could last for years.
He actually stood in front of me and said "I am the head of this household, I am telling you how this is going to be taken care of".
Though heartbroken, I conceded. I didn't tell him until years later how comforted I was to have that burden on his shoulders rather than mine. When a wife submits biblical to her husband,it is an awesome experience.
BTW. He was right, I knew he was. I just lacked the emotional strength to do what was right.
