One of three victims in police attacks meant for fugitive Christopher Dorner is speaking out through his attorney, who calls Torrance police officers "violent and reckless" for shooting at and detaining him.
After all, David Perdue is a thin white man who looks nothing like Dorner. And he was questioned and released by officers just moments before another officer slammed a patrol car into his truck and fired shots at him.
Perdue left his Redondo Beach home and was driving through Torrance to the beach for some early morning surfing on Thursday when he was stopped. Officers guarding the home of a law enforcement official targeted by Dorner questioned him because his Honda Ridgeline pickup truck resembled the vehicle investigators believed Dorner was driving.
Seconds after he drove away, Perdue's truck was broadsided by a Torrance police car at the corner of Flagler Land and Beryl Street, said his attorney Robert Sheahen.
"These lunatics broadsided the side of his truck, spun him around and started shooting at him," Sheahen said...

I think that was the Fullerton, California police department.
Ok. Thanks. But ALL the incidents?
I'm asking a serious question: If cops do that thinking it's the bad guy even though they had no idea who was in both trucks, is that okay? If it isn't, and regular citizens fire at three people in two different trucks, they would be charged with attempted murder, right? So, why can cops get away with that, if they can?
I don't hear any outrage except from the one guy and his lawyer.
Why aren't those cops arrested and charged? I could say I made a mistake and shot up two trucks with a total of three people hurt and two of them shot - they would still put me in jail. I don't get it.
Thanks. You should be a news writer. Clear and concise while anticipating what the reader’s questions may be.
Isn’t that part of CD’s wish? For us to see what he’s talking about?
I heard a story on the radio today...the people of LA are in WAY more fear of the cops than they are of Dorner. They should be.
He wasn’t shot.
He did sustain several other injuries, including a damaged shoulder, consistent with an automobile collision.
A women hit the back of my car years ago and I thought I was fine. Then my neck started burning so went to emergency room. The doc said nothing was broken but my neck was going to get really sore. The next morning, I couldn't lift my head off my pillow - my neck would not support my head. Took three-four days before it was okay. Hitting from the back throws the head forward, then snaps it back.
Hitting from the side the head hits the side frame, inside the head the brain hits the skull on that side and causes the concussion, then the head snaps back sideways.
You look for brain injury first on the side away from the blow.
Now those Bozos want to use drones...
“Officers questioned him, Seconds after he drove away, Perdue’s truck was broadsided by a Torrance police car at the corner of Flagler Land and Beryl Street”
So not only are they incompetent, but stupid blind ignorant and murderous against people who obviously were NOT Dorner upon VISUAL identification/confirmation.
Sleep? Wazzat?
Making those tests easier so certain Dorners could pass have consequences, just look no further than the White Hut.
