Reed is finished in this country.
As the old saying goes—”Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas.”
I had never heard of the ESOS before this controversy evolved. Never knew that much money was invloved. But I wonder why it was ever held on the east coast in the first place?
Seems like Texas or some other Red State would be a better place.
I expect a buttload of kickbacks and payola to politicians to legislate mandatory participation their politically correct “Sports Shows” (conveniently without ARs, AKs, Shotguns, etc) in future.
If they (business) weren’t vocal before the cancellation, then I have no sympathy for their misery over the repercussions.
“Reed is finished in this country. “
One can only hope. LOL at all the obama voters in that part of the state, too. Elections have consequences.
I just hope that GIECO , GE Capital , and COMCAST take a hit on this loss of revenue .
It is unfortunate that residents of Pennsylvania have to take this finacial hit , but I believe the residents are in support of this action .
Interpretation: Surrender your rights and principles for a buck.
all these hotels, etc. should publicly thank Reed for killing their golden egg laying goose in the name of political correctness, and the Democrat Progressive Agenda.
I don’t feel the least little bit sorry for hotel/restaurant/tourist/hospitality workers who voted for Obama, for Sen Casey.
Can’t hear us now?
How about $44 Million later!
Can you hear us now?
We are not stopping here! From the Boycott organizer’s site.

Today We Won a Battle Now We Move Onto The War !
Congratulations and Thank You for speaking up and making a difference on our Second Amendment Rights.
We have won a Battle today, but the war still looms in front of us. We have Leaders in our Government who still wish to take our Rights away from us. Sen. Feinstein is proposing her Assault Weapons Ban to Senate tomorrow, and we need to make sure all of our elected officials know that any stance against our rights will be unacceptable.
The Clinton Era ban was ruled completely useless after its termination and now there is another encompassing a ban being proposed. While we have the momentum and while we are able, we need to tell our friends Families, and even people who do not have guns to call E mail and write to their Congressmen and Senators and tell them our Constitutional Rights are not up for debate or them to meddle in.
Lets stay active and vigilant, we cannot allow this to happen. Rally all you 21st Century Minutemen we must act before we can no longer act.
Watch for some exciting news later today as we launch our next campaign !
I hope that GIECO ,GE Capital , and COMCAST take a financial hit on this .
Cancell ,..cancell,..cancell ..
It is indeed unfortunate for the residents of Pennsylvania.
Let the show production company sponcers see and learn that decisions have consequence
.. when they “infringe “ on the Constitution.
Elections have Consequences.
$44M dollars is not enough money to buy my principles and rights.
One word can summarize what needs to be done: compete.
Find every Left-leaning business and bank and politician, shun them economically, and support their conservative competition.
Compete in every arena, from the beauty salon to Wall Street.
Probably should’ve thought of that before kicking your vendors, sponsors and customers in the teeth.
There are always consequences.

It suggests they were being pressured by somebody with the power to produce a bigger hit against them than they are now experiencing.
This would be a good time for some other entity to scoop up this show. Maybe the NRA could run it.
“The Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show was expected to bring $44 million in direct spending to the region, according to the Hershey Harrisburg Regional Visitors Bureau.
Now that the show has been postponed — with no reschedule date set, and none imminent — many hotels and restaurants could be in for a difficult winter.”
It sounds like they are laying blame and guilt on Businesses for standing up for their constitutional rights. The blame should and does fall on Reed for refusing to backtrack on a bad decision.
Unfortunately Reed Exibitions will survive this. I was researching to see if they are doing any other shows so I could avoid them and pass the word. Their website shows them managing 390 shows, assume a one year snapshot, with only 29 being in the US. The only show that would remotely interest me is a hardware show in Vegas, which is a few thousand miles out of my way. Hopefully, when the dust settles a Cabelas or Pro Bass or some other 2A supporter steps up to get the Harrisburg show back together in the future.
This situation is 100% the fault of Reed. If anyone losing money wants to moan and scream, they should direct it to Reed and only Reed. Just my opinion.
