For liberals facts are never really important. “Truth” to liberals like Democrat New York City Congressman Jerrold Nadler is what he “feels” it is. Nadler has said: “Hunters don’t use large ammunition clips, and as far as self- defense, I mean who are you defending yourself against? If you’re defending yourself against a robber… two or three or four shots should be enough—period.”
It’s a safe bet Nadler has never faced an assailant fueled by adrenalin drugs and alcohol. That doesn’t matter, of course, since no one will ever challenge Nadler on his supposed knowledge of the danger presented by people who are psychotic and drunk – “period.”
The “period” at the end of Nadler’s pronouncement is the classic liberal dismissal of anyone daring to disagree with...

But ... what if the guy who was attacking my basic right to life (or some other basic right) were incredibly fat? I mean: huge. I mean — nearly bullet-proof due to the quantity of lard he was carrying? Wouldn’t I want to shoot that person a lot more than just 3 or 4 times? I’m just sayin’

Then matbe Obama ought to sign an EO limiting all federal personnel authorized to carry a gun limiting them to 4 rounds.
Has anyone done any research on the average shots fired in a home self-defense situation? That should help towards settling this.
The only thing close to this I’ve seen, are the articles in the beginning of each ‘American Rifleman’ magazine on citizens defending themselves. None of them involve more than a few shots being fired by the defenders.
Well, it's a good thing NY passed a law that only groups of 4 or less can assault people.
Otherwise, this would be a completely ridiculous statement.
Unfortunately, New York will deny you the permits to own that many pistols.

It’s basically keep firing until the subject is down. Also be prepared to kill your assailant, center mass. No trick shots to the leg or so called warning shots. Those will get you killed.
The highly-trained, super cops average about a dozen per take down, while our military uses about 500,000 per kill. But for you, 2 is more than enough, because after that you deserve to die for having the audacity to arm yourself.
2 to 4 shots might be enough if you’re using an elephant gun...
If the gold standard of evaluation is to “save one life”, then we must allow for unlimited self-defense shots.
