One day in church, a preacher was giving a sermon on how the Bible covers every subject known to man. At the end of the service, when everyone was shaking the preacher’s hand as they were leaving, a woman came up to him and said “Nice sermon, Reverend, but I know of a subject that the Bible never discusses.”
“What’s that?” replied the preacher.
“Pre-Menstrual Syndrome” answered the woman.
The preacher then retorted, “I’m sure the Bible speaks of this phenomenon somewhere! I’ll tell you what, give me a week to do some research, and check back with me next Sunday.”
The lady agreed and waited until after the service the next week. When she approached the preacher after the next Sunday’s service, she had a coy smile on her face. “Well Reverend, it’s been a week, and I’m sure you didn’t find anything, did you?”
The preacher replied, “Actually I DID!”
The woman was astonished, and queried, “Exactly what did you find in the Bible that talks about Pre-Menstrual Syndrome?”
The preacher answered “In the book of Luke, it says ‘…and Mary rode Joseph’s ass all the way to Bethlehem!’”
