That was one of the weirdest debates I’ve ever seen. Paul Ryan was a precise, patient policy wonk, and Joe Biden was CRAZY GRANDPA, YOU WANT A PIECE O’ ME, SON??
I could scarcely even pay attention to whatever lies Biden was telling, so distracting was all his laughing and interrupting and flailing about. As Christopher Bedford puts it, he swapped out “hope and change” for “interrupt and laugh.” He was so obnoxious, I became convinced he was trying to goad Ryan into taking a swing at him.

My favorite moment was when the man who’s a heartbeat away from the presidency reacted to the prospect of Israel being engulfed in a nuclear fireball with a broad grin and a hearty chuckle. Great.
Well, if Obama thought his problem in the last debate was not being a cackling, bellowing, constantly interrupting dillhole, Biden really saved his bacon. If this steep escalation in hostility is any indication, Obama will open the next debate with a string of epithets and a diving elbow drop.
I was glad they started off with Benghazi, because I could actually pay attention to what they were saying before Joe went off the Amtrak rails. He straight-up lied and said the Benghazi consulate didn’t ask for more security. Or else he’s just so ignorant that he still doesn’t know they did. Or maybe he was in a blackout. Who knows.
As for moderator Martha Raddatz, I could tell she was really playing it down the middle when she asked Ryan if we should apologize for American troops urinating on Taliban corpses. Because that’s the issue. (Gee, why didn’t anybody think of that before they went and blamed some stupid YouTube video?) And she interrupted Ryan almost as much as Biden did. Obviously she got the memo.

His smile was frightening. For most of the night Joe Biden looked like the Joker — Nicholson not Ledger.
After 3 ½ years of Biden’s playing the fool, it is hard to remember he was once considered a serious man, a serious politician. But...Barack wasn’t looking for a serious politician — he wanted a court jester — and that’s what he got.
Now, after playing the fool for so long he has become the fool. Yet, in the debate he wanted to again be a serious man — or at least play one on TV. He clearly showed why Clint Eastwood called him the “intellect” of the Democrat Party.

Biden looked and acted like he was just released from the hospital. His face was pale and his eyes were bouncing.
He may have some serious medical problems.
In other words, a Jackass.
My take away? Is this man (Blow Biden) qualified to be president? I think not.
Biden? Not qualified!

Biden came off like he is rude, arrogant, condescending and stupid, because he is rude, arrogant, condescending, and stupid.
I’m surprised that Ryan hasn’t been called racist. he used the term “my boys.”
“Joe Biteme” acted as people have come to know him already (a condescending blowhard).
But when Obama tries to be aggressive, it’s going to backfire on him. His meanness is already becoming self-apparent to many.
He knows he’s up against the ropes and narcissistic psychopaths do not like to be not liked.
Obama is known as the giver of windy speeches, but not as an aggressor. Every time he gets aggressive, he blows it.
The independents in the middle are the key votes he needs and if he tries to pull a Biden, it’ll look ugly.

Why do you think Obama picked him in the first place - so that anyone who would try to remove him from office by means of impeachment, or otherwise, would have second thoughts.

He was the Joker all right, but not Nicholson or Ledger (RIP). He was most like Cesar Romero’ s Joker in the TV Batman series fro the 60’s..................
Biden gave the liberal base some red meat while turning off the moderate swing voters. His performance last night did not play well in “fly-over country”. Obama and Biden must be in real trouble if they need to shore up their base at this point in the election cycle.
He certainly isn't "grandfatherly" by any stretch of the word, except maybe age.
A more apt description would be "crazy brother-in-law". You know, that obnoxious, boorish, know-it-all, opinionated, smirking, Obama-voting, conversation-hogging ass your dear wife is stuck with for a brother.
No disrespect to normal brothers-in-law everywhere....it's just that I have a soft spot for grandfathers who are generally wise, good-hearted and mellow.....unlike the shrewish, abhorrent, abominable, contemptible, despicable, disgusting, odious, repugnant, loathsome, nefarious Biden.
