Alan Keyes: Should Black Americans say No to both Romney and Obama?

Should Black Americans say No to both Romney and Obama? - A post for one and all

The most tragically appalling thing about the choice the elitist faction has contrived for this election year is that both the Democratic and Republican candidates for President deeply betray the core constituency they are presuming to represent. I thought of this some time ago as I read about the pastors, black American Christians, who see go good choice for black American Christians in this year's Presidential election.

[snip]

But I forget myself. If you've read this far, you're wondering how this thread weaves its way back to America's choice-less choice in this election year. The answer is simply this. We are given a choice in this election year that on one side comes through Marx and Lenin (Obama); and on other through Nietzsche and Ayn Rand (Romney). Both of them lead to the place in human history where Hitler meets with Stalin. We should have learned from our hindsight of their twentieth-century meeting that, even as it took place, both of them were already lost. How can it be that in the country most responsible for defeating them both, we now refuse to learn from their (anti-Christian) history. We must reject them both, or else, like them, we are already lost. And by we, I mean all of us, black, white, and every shade between — any and all who are willing to meet upon the way that joins all colors in one light, yet leaves each one, in Godly sight, clearly distinct, forever.

I flatly disagree with Ambassador Keyes.

We ALL need to get behind Mitt Romney to stop Obama and the radical, anti-American Democratic "Chicago" Party machine that is bent on the elimination of religion by substituting government -- the Left has been chipping away our morals and beliefs (now legislating them) in their struggle to de-develop the United States of America - stripping away our inalienable rights.

I suggest reading this piece by Lloyd Marcus.

Obama versus Jesus: Black Christians Must Decide "A poll claims that Romney will receive zero percent of the black vote. Well, if the poll proves correct, it means that a vast majority of black voters are ignorant of the truth...or else they're racist.

Black Christians who vote for Obama knowing his crimes against Christianity and biblical principles have chosen to worship the idol of racial loyalty over their discipleship to Jesus Christ. Pure and simple.

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."-Exodus20:3

Incredibly, some blacks have completely forsaken their Christianity for Obama. A fellow PK(preacher's kid) said her parents recently changed their stance on same-sex marriage in support of their black president. I find this remarkable.

Though I disagree, I have been sympathetic and understanding with black seniors who have suffered dearly, with hearts still bearing scars of racial injustice.

A year or so ago, I hosted the first Black Conservative Press Conference at the National Press Club in D.C. Several prominent black conservatives from numerous black conservative groups/organizations spoke. My brother brought my 84-year-old black dad from Baltimore. That evening, Dad said, "Everything I heard today is true. But, because of racism I suffered in my youth, I can not turn against Obama."

At that time, I respectfully gave my hero, my preacher dad, a pass. Some may criticize me, saying, Lloyd, either you stand for conservatism or you do not. While you may have a valid point, it is in my DNA to respect my parents. How do you respectfully tell your usually character-driven parent that his decision to support Obama, no matter what, is rooted in racism and a refusal to forgive?

But now that Obama has been exposed as the most anti-Christian president in U.S. history, senior black Christians must no longer be given a pass for supporting this man.

At stake is something extremely important: their fellowship with Christ versus an idolatrous worship of skin color.........

Keyes is offering a third option that simply does not exist.

Isn’t Keyes the guy that Obama beat to get his original Senate seat?

Alan Keyes is perhaps the greatest political loser in modern US history. The man loses every race he runs - normally by embarrassingly huge margins. It is hard to take anything he says seriously. Just go away Alan.

“Should [liberal] Black Americans say No to both Romney and Obama?”

Works for me.

I an ideal world, we can reject them both. In the real world in which we reside, if we reject them both, we get Obama.

It’s a matter of how fast the handbasket goes. If it’s moving slower, maybe we will have time to stop it, and maybe even reverse it.

Does anyone still take this perennial loser seriously? Alan Keyes is about as relevant today as pogs, floppy discs, beanie babies and Netscape.

Well said

O MUST be defeated. House and Senate are MUSTS as well.

We can and will hold Romney’s feet to the fire. The One who is Mooch’s other half will destroy us if relected

Keyes, you couldn't beat by this guy in 2004 and saved us from the last four years?

As a black conservative Keyes should be concerned about two very important issues 1)Liberals have been herding urban minorities into dysfunctonal union controlled urban schools for the past three generations. They are kept ignorant and docile. Meanwhile urban liberals like Obama, Rahm Emmanuel, Pelosi and the Kennedy family of course “choose” good private schools for their kids but deny the urban poor vouchers.2) The liberals conveniently locate most abortion clinics in minority neighborhoods and generously fund frontmen like Sharpton and Jackson to deny the obvious. Its silly for Keyes to worry about Ayn Rand. He is actually a very intelligent man.

What is your plan to stop Romney from imposing socialism on the U.S.? What is your plans for conservatives to survive in the GOP? At this year’s GOP convention, Romney already started rules to push out conservatives. By 2016, conservatives will be told to go to a 3rd party or accept the left wing GOP. You really think 3rd party is the way to go? Romney is not going to go soft on conservatives just because they helped him. It will be Elliot Spitzer steam roller time. I can’t believe how many Freepers President Obama has gotten to completely abandon conservatism.

Alan Keyes is possibly the stupidest black man since God created melanin.

Closely followed by Obama, who still mopped all his floors with him.

Remember - if Romney wins, you get him again in 2016. You want to wait until 2020 for a conservative to support? That’ll be 36 years ...

Concentrate on the Senate and settle for a replay of the 90’s.

It is truly sad that elderly black Americans with memories of discrimination and family roots in slavery were duped (by the color of Obama’s skin) into believing that he shared their history, or their Christian values of suffering and redemption.

I don’t know how that misanthropy can be corrected without a sense of one more devastating betrayal.

The socialist/Marxist MSM is guilty of painting a Dorian Gray portrait of a charleton and removing all sense of pride Americans were anxious to place in their first black President.

So you are saying he is just like Romney, except that Romney has won 1 more race than Keyes.

Michelle’s mother is thrilled to be leaving Washington for Hawaii permanently. All those years of putting up with her “punk-ass son-in-law” as she called him have finally paid off for her in her mind, because she never dreamed she’d get to retire on an estate in Hawaii that can only be described as “royal”.
