Here we are, a little more than a month from Election Day. The race is very close, despite what the pollsters and the MSM try to tell us. And oddly, the one person who most energizes the GOP base, the Tea Party, has all but disappeared from the public view.
Damn straight... if Romney can’t pull this off, all hell’s breakin’ out, the Tea Party will become third party, with some “Hell-Boy-Cigar-Smoin” attitude ): [
I think that Sarah is being smart about this election.
Wait for the debates. After they are done, you’ll see her.
Uh, that would be Cigar Smokin’ , not Smoin
She just not getting the press.
She has several statements up on her facebook page ...along with some great shots of the girls out hunting in Alaska.
I think you’re right.
Gotta hand to the dems, though. We eat out own. They pull together, no matter what. Hillary got dissed and slandered by the man/child and now she’s his Secretary. And they are standing together on the Libyan fiasco. Bill Clinton is said to “hate” Obama, yet Clinton takes the lead at the convention with the speech. And some say that endorsement is the current difference. They are shrewd and pragmatic.
Yea right, wishful thinking Obama lover. Take your chicken Little bullshiite back to the dump or just crawl back into your bottle.
“Shes legit, and thus wont shill for Romney.”
Sarah made a decision during the primary. It would later prove to be self-serving in my opinion but nonetheless, it made a powerful impact on Governor Perry’s and Governor Romney’s campaigns. She tossed around the term “crony capitalism” and tied it to Perry and Romney through innuendo. I think she forever changed her own future. Unknown to most of us, she and Todd had decided to hitch their stars to the Gingrich candidacy. He was the only one of all the candidates who actually said in public that there “ would be a place for Sarah Palin in a Gingrich White House.” First Todd and then She proceeded to flex muscle and endorsed him in South Carolina, proving herself to be human afterall. He won on her added strength. The victory should have been Perry’s but thanks to his own missteps and Sarah’s choice , the great Christians of South Carolina deserted him and made themselves look like moral hypocrites in voting Gingrich. Perry needed that state to jump start his campaign . The loss wiped him out and put Sarah on the road to cheerleader, commentator, special guest, and forever unelectable. As much as I like her, her decisions in the primaries pretty much made her what she is today. An influential Conservative wildly loved by the folks but not so by the Party. The Party ain’t going away. I still appreciate her skills.
Riiight......4 years more of Obama and he will never allow another election by executive order. You can forget 2016.

How many kids does she have and Grandkids?
How many still in school, what 3 not counting maybe one grandkid probably in pre-school or KG?
Do ya have kids and know what getting back in the grove in September is like, especially if there is sports envolved?
Da, she is being a Mom, end of story....
She's studying.
Like it or not, Sarah energizes the left’s base. Right now, despite the MSMs chant to the contrary, the moderate left is depressed. The last thing we want to do is get the left fired up. If you are a big Sarah fan, then you are already counting the seconds to VOTE AGAINST OBAMA.
She brought something to the table when she agreed to be McPain's veep. If they had won, and she was now the veep, she would be positioned to actually have a positive effect and even more so if she managed to take the higher office. She's more legit than those who take a lack of information and decide that the lack of information equates to something substantial.
Sarah is exactly where Romney wants her.
DO you mean when she was his Veep Nominee? That was her JOB, wasn't it?
If you mean when she endorsed him for his re-election campaign for the Senate, I don't think publicly endorsing him necessarily counts as shilling. She didn't appear with him all over the place, she simply supported him. I didn't fault her for that; it was McCain who made her a household word. It would have been completely ungracious of her to NOT support his re-election.
Thank you. I just reread her letter more carefully. I received it yesterday. Reading this carefully composed letter, I have decided to send SarahPAC some more money on Monday.
Sarah has done more than her share and the RINOs succeeded in shoving her off the stage. Specifically, Romney's people stabbed her in the back throughout the 2008 campaign and beyond. Now, they can win the election without her. Let Sarah enjoy her retirement.
I think that she is like much of freerepublic, she is a republican, and she will vote for Romney, and she wants him to defeat Obama, but she won't fake sincerity and lie for him, so she generally stays silent about her lack of respect for Mitt Romney and his liberal agenda.
