Recently, the commie pig droppings at Mother Jones magazine published a video of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney being 100% honest about why so many people support Jew hater Barack Hussein Obama---they get all kinds of "free" crap paid for by some working stiff against his will. The arrogant and lazy media rejoiced and sang hosannas. Obama was now safe. To them, Romney was outed as an evil robber baron who wanted to turn the poor into Soylent Green and there was no way for him to possibly best their lord and savior after this "shocking" revelation.
Before we get into this, perhaps we should learn exactly what Mother Jones actually is. (Trust me, folks, I ain't picking on some elderly nun.) From Discover the Networks:
***
"Mother Jones is a bimonthly magazine and website named for socialist 'union organizer' Mary Harris 'Mother' Jones (1830-1930). It prides itself on continuing her pursuit of socialist 'social justice' by doing investigative reporting that mostly targets corporations, capitalists, private property, and Republican political officeholders.
Well-known leftist editors and writers on this magazine's masthead include Todd Gitlin, Molly Ivins, Bill McKibben, Richard Rodriguez, William Saletan, Orville Schell, Eric Schlosser, and Amy Wilentz. Mother Jones began taking shape in 1974 when theWatergate scandal was demonstrating how investigative reporting could weaken and oust a Republican President elected by an overwhelming majority. Its genesis was a failed attempt to save the reigning radical magazine of the day, Ramparts. Ramparts editor David Horowitz had put together a team consisting of labor journalist Paul Jacobs, leftist entrepreneur Richard Parker, and leftist millionaire Adam Hochschild to take over Ramparts from its retiring editors, Horowitz and Peter Collier. When the trio had a falling out with Ramparts staffers, they elected to leave and create their own magazine, which became Mother Jones.
The magazine was launched in February 1976.
Mother Jones focuses heavily on the evils of capitalism and the alleged desirability of government control over business. On a global level, the magazine reserves its harshest condemnations for the U.S. and Israel, and is staunchly supportive of Marxist regimes like Fidel Castro's Cuba."

So, in other words, Mother Jones is just a nice bunch of "social justice" activists who really, really care about the poor and just can't wait to pay their taxes every April 15th ?
Well not exactly, Dear Reader. They're a 501(c)(3) organization. Mother Jones pay no taxes despite raking in millions from ads in their print magazine and crappy little website.
Hey! What ?!
***
"To be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, an organization must be organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3), and none of its earnings may inure to any private shareholder or individual. In addition, it may not be an action organization, i.e., it may not attempt to influence legislation as a substantial part of its activities and it may not participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates."

So, wait a minute....If Mother Jones pays no taxes, what do they do with the money they earn ?
That's a great question, Dear Reader. What exactly does Mother Russia Jones do with the money that they're not using to pay their "fair share" ? After all, according to Chairman Obama, we all need to pay our "fair share" to build bridges to nowhere, subsidizing lazy teachers, and the rest of the indignities our bloated leviathan of a federal government deems necessary to inflict upon its victims, the embattled taxpayers, on a daily basis.
The first thing Mother Russia Jones does is pay the homosexual agenda pushers and drug addicts who run the place really, really well. According to the charity watchdog Charity Navigator, Mother Jones publisher and president John Harris was paid $101,976 in fiscal year 2010. Editor in chiefs Clara Jeffery and Monika Bauerlein were paid $166,423 and $161,684 respectively in 2010. CFO and COO Madeleine Buckingham didn't do all that shabby either, raking in a cool $155,987.* Who knew being a leftist mouth breather paid so well ?
The next thing they do is violate the very IRS code that makes them tax exempt. If you'll recall from the above definition, 501(c)(3) organizations like Mother Russia Jones aren't supposed to involve themselves in partisan politics or push political agendas. But for the most part, partisan politics and pushing political agendas is all that Mother Jones does.
Here's a few examples of what Mother Jones attempts to pass off as unbiased journalism:
***
"Nate Silver has an epic post today about late September polls from past years and how well they predict the eventual winner of a presidential race. Here are the highlights:
---Obama is currently up by 3.7%. No candidate in the past 50 years has lost a lead that big.
---No candidate with more than 47% of the vote in late September has ever lost. Obama is currently at 48.3%.
---Big changes in the final month aren't impossible, but they've gotten rarer in the past 20 years.
---It's not true that undecided voters tend to break for the challenger in the last few weeks of a race."

"In every way that they can control, the Obama people have simply been smarter. Take those conventions: in each of them, the presidential candidate was introduced by a well-known figure who went on stage and ad-libbed. One was an 82-year-old guy talking to an empty chair (and I still thought he was the best thing the Republicans had to offer, including his shout-out about withdrawing all our troops from Afghanistan) and the other was... well, Bill Clinton.
It wasn't even a contest. As for the upcoming debates, if you think Romney can outduel Obama without wandering in among the thorns, I have a Nigerian prince I'd like to introduce you to. In other words, it should really all be over except for the usual shouting and the gazillions of dollars of attack ads that will turn swing-state TV screens into a mind-numbing blur of lies."

I'd continue, but you're a smart cookie, Dear Reader. I'm sure you get the drift. (This is just a sampling from 9/24/12, mind you.)
Here's the bottom line, folks. If Mitt Romney is serious about winning the White House, he needs to take the gloves off and put the brass knucks on. (Yes, verbal brass knucks.) He has to call Obama exactly what he is, a Jew hating, Catholic persecuting, a Jihadi sympathizing, homosexual agenda pushing, dog-eating, race baiting, commie piece of human garbage. It's pretty obvious that Obama and his sycophants at Mother Russia Jones are playing for keeps, using every trick in the Book of Lies and break every law they have to keep their little scam going. Is it too much to ask that Romney uses the truth to save America ?

BUMP
a charity my foot
let me guess that close to 100% of their untaxed revenue goes to their top brass
how can a partisan political rag be a 501c3?
Indeed.

I don’t know how they get away with it. Media Matters does the same chit. I look around and the only way I see things changing is through us but how to stop them— I’m still not sure.
There are three big “progressive” i.e. socialist mags: The Nation, The Progressive, and Mother Jones. The Nation is the oldest and the one that at one time meekly and dutifully obeyed the orders it got from Stalinist Russia. Not that the other two mags are any better. They would all like to see the downfall of free-enterprise capitalism and some sort of socialist state. Hopefully, with themselves in charge.
Media Matters is worse in some ways. They work hand in hand with Eric Holder and the DOJ. Mother Jones simply breaks the law as they see fit.
“Hopefully, with themselves in charge.”
That’s the game plan, it seems.
I once read a leftist claim that the elite always pushes mysticism while the "common man" is a materialist. This of course is pure hooey, and even the left knows it, which is why they celebrate rather than attack the religions of "indigenous pipples."
If Mother Jones believed in G-d, then atheists have no right to name a magazine after her. If she did not, then she was merely another elitist.

I made sure to mention it in my new article
Mother Jones was nothing more than a rabble rousing socialist union organizer and community organizer. (She was Chairman Obama before there was a Chairman Obama.) I’d be hard pressed to call her an intellectual.
You don’t have to necessarily give up worldly possessions to make such a difference, after all my friends at the magazine all make six figures.
Outstanding!
Hey, like your blog btw! Kudos!
Thank you
Started it last Thursday or so. Got about 700 page views today I think. I hope it stays popular.
Eric Holder’s department of just us will get on this right away. I’m so sure. This is yet another reason to impeach the blighter.
“The Department of Just Us” ?
Consider that stolen...er...uh...redistributed! Yeah, that’s it! Redistributed!
A rabble rousing socialist union organizer might have believed in G-d once, in earlier days. The point is that the people who now use her name are intellectuals, and G-dless ones at that.
“Shared.” You shared it with me. You’re welcome to it, sweetie.
Ah! Now I got it! (Feeling crunchy...very crunchy...)
You bring up an interesting point that should be explored further. Since when does being an intellectual mean one has to be an atheist ? Some of the most prominent thinkers in world history were religious or at believed in God in one form or another. (St. Augustine, St. Thomas, the Founders, and yes, Albert Einstein believed in God in his own way.)
Hmmm....sounds like a future blog....Thank you!
A belated Happy New Year, FRiend!
L’Shana Tova!
:)
Although I still don't think you're getting my point. It's not that one can be an intellectual and believe in G-d, but that one could conceivably be a leftist without being either an atheist or an intellectual. That's almost impossible in our own day, but it might have been possible in prior times.
