To: Absolutely Nobama
Mother Jones was nothing more than a rabble rousing socialist union organizer and community organizer. (She was Chairman Obama before there was a Chairman Obama.) I’d be hard pressed to call her an intellectual.

A rabble rousing socialist union organizer might have believed in G-d once, in earlier days. The point is that the people who now use her name are intellectuals, and G-dless ones at that.

Ah! Now I got it! (Feeling crunchy...very crunchy...)

You bring up an interesting point that should be explored further. Since when does being an intellectual mean one has to be an atheist ? Some of the most prominent thinkers in world history were religious or at believed in God in one form or another. (St. Augustine, St. Thomas, the Founders, and yes, Albert Einstein believed in God in his own way.)

Hmmm....sounds like a future blog....Thank you!
