The amazing part was that they did not reverse it on replay.

I think there's actually a reasonable argument for simultaneous possession (which goes to the offense). In the view from across the field you can see that Tate has his arm between the ball and the Jennings' chest, and the other wrapped around it. By the NFL's definition of possession (a firm grip and control of the ball) one could say they both had possession, which means touchdown Seattle. So can one really say that Jennings was in exclusive possession of the ball? He wasn't in enough control to retain it after the fact (Tate tore it away).
In light of the above, I'd say the real screw-up (and it was definitely a screw-up) was one of the officials calling a touchdown while the other ruled touchback without any discussion. That made it very hard to overturn on replay.
Now, as for that blindingly obvious offensive pass-interference!!!
Both teams definitely got screwed on certain penalties. Overall I'd say that Green Bay got it worse and the BS penalty call front. Both team's touchdown drives were kept alive by terrible calls. *sigh* Where's Ed Hochuli?
Hell, maybe the game should be annulled then given to Seattle on the basis of eight frickin sacks. That was amazing!
I gotta hand it to the replacement refs, they sure keep things interesting in a nauseous sort of way...

“I dont think sending those refs to Green would be a very good idea at all unless there was maximum security.”
Bears fans look at the bright side. At the end of the game, the refs would then be reffing no more, and the Packers would still lose. :)

Sheesh.
I bleed Purple, and always cheer for whatever team is playing the Cheeseheads.
But I want the Vikes to win (or see the Pack lose) legitimately.
They was robbed tonight.

I’m from Seattle, and that was the worst referee performance from begining to end I have ever seen. It went both ways. Obviously the last 2 drives were really bad for GB, and as a Packer fan I’d be outta my mind.
I’m thinking Roger Goodell’s 50 cell phones are going to be rather busy in the next 2-3 days.
If I was representing the refs union, I think I’d wait a day or two to answer his phone call.
I’d answer: Oh Hi Roger. And how are yooooouuuu? Yeah, about that offer thing. We’ve made a few changes.

Worst call ever?
You must be a youngun.
I was a witness to the Cowboys/Vikings "Hail Mary" playoff game.
The Cowboys had more than Mary on their side for that call.
Wish I'd thrown the whiskey bottle.

Worst call of the season?!?!!? Try one of the worst calls EVER... This weekend has been a joke for NFL Football, they better end this lockout soon.
To: irishtenor
Oh, believe me, that is UPPERMOST in my mind.

It’s just a game, a boys game.
If the league caves then the union refs will “own” the league.
Integrity of the game???? Give me a break.

I’ve seen a lot of “interesting” calls and ball placements in NCAA too.

Not trying to be a serial poster here...but does anyone remember the "tuck rule?"
I had no dog in that hunt, but it had to be the most egregious case of sports larceny I've ever seen.

They should send these refs back to pop-warner where they belong.
