Never Played it.
HOWEVER!
Warcraft 2 was the very first computer game I ever played, and It was Glorious!!!
Warcraft 3 was pretty darn good too, but nothing beats that nostalgia of getting war briefings like in Warcraft 2.
h no. Not into video games.
oo, this might be the perfect thread to ask this question of anyone interested in replying:
I don’t seem to be downloading the Pandaria expansion when I log onto the game. Does anyone else have the download? Or will the download start tomorrow?
South Park images streaming through my mind....does anyone even play WOW any more?? (other than over aged and over weight middle aged + guys)
I’m over in Guild Wars 2 instead...
I quit paying/playing at the end of July. 4.3 was way too long and Dragon Soul was just the worst end of expansion raid ever.
Sometimes after being lied to, led astray and told next patch, next expansion we’ll fix it blah blah blah.... Blizzard is the gaming equivalent of Obama. Constantly campaigning on problems they created yet only they can solve yet never do.
Thanks, I’ll enjoy my free time another way.
I played on one of the MoP beta servers over the past 4 months or so, off and on. Enough to get a panda monk up to level 51 before I abandoned it. I took it as an opportunity to check out the new mechanics, talent trees, user interface changes, and most of all to level a new character and visit some of the many lower level Cataclysm changes & quests in the vanilla zones that I hadn't visited before. I didn't do much in the 85-90 level content areas, preferring to defer SOMETHING until the actual release.
Been playing off and on since summer 2005. Mostly off the past few months. It's hard to generate much enthusiasm for this fourth expansion, but maybe I'll get into it again. I've gone thru long lulls before, between various questing, leveling, PVP and hard-care raiding phases.
The obvious rip-off of the Kung-Fu Panda movie for this expansion has me a bit under-enthused. What's next, a Smurf character class with Gargamel as the end-game boss? Once you go this commercial, I'm not sure there's much going back. I'm hoping it's just a dumb excuse to get in some oriental culture/architecture/music areas, since there hasn't been much of that to date. The "island" of Pandaria is really pretty from a scenery perspective, with a nice ambiance.
