A customer of ours put one of our Russian Model 1891/30 Mosin Nagant Rifle Crates to good to good use. We have heard of this being done before, but Spikes08 was kind enough to post about it on AR15.com and then allow us to repost on our blog.
Check it out:

Now on to the substantive post 5k.
I original saw this piece of awesomeness you see below on arfcom. I knew I had to have one. So I got in touch with Bryan at AIM and acquired some mosin crates and Laminate Stock M44s. Thanks Bryan!

Sweet!
....in case of emergency, break glass
For the end tables get the crate for the Nagant pistols. Then make pole lamps out of the M91/38s. WOW.
The real touch of genius here is the internal lighting. Nice job!
I see that the owner fortunately left four of his weapons behind, saving them from that tragic boating accident in the Okeefenokee swamp.
“Join the NRA “
What does the NRA have to do with liberty? The NRA has been behind every major gun control law for the past 100 years. Leave the NRA out of discussions of liberty.
Gotta love the entire concept - especially the “feet” made out of inert grenades.
The NRA is still the big dog in the fight to restore the Second Amendment. Yes, they have had to be prodded and pushed into doing it. Yes, they are somewhat reluctant proxies for the gun culture in America, where most NRA members are far more committed than the NRA itself.
If you look at my past posts, you will see that I have been a severe critic of the NRA. But, they are what they are, and we have to do what we can to make them do what needs to be done.
Yes, that includes sending money and dues and support to the more stalwart members of the gun rights organizations. That gets the NRA's attention.
“restore the Second Amendment. “
Let the NRA lobby as hard at removing the NFA and GCA and redeem themselves. Even the Euroweenie nations have suppressors without taxes and asking permission from the ATF.
P.S. That is an awesome coffee table. It would fit my home just fine.
My first thought as well!
That is seriesly cool!
This would look great in my living room.
I need one of these for the dynachrome mansion!
Great coffee table for a man cave.
kewl!
I would prefer an SKS crate coffee table.
Sure screwed up not buying a crate of 10 for $650
I didn’t know you could buy them by the crate.
Can you post a link?
$2,200 too. Sure wish I'd got a case at $650.
