"Around the country, the Republican Party is mounting legal challenges to keep third-party candidates off the ballot in November.
Writer Karl Dickey reports in the Examiner that in recent weeks, with the full support and legal assistance of the Republican Party, [Gary] Johnson's ballot status has been challenged in Michigan, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, Iowa and now Ohio." Gary Johnson (pictured) is the former governor of New Mexico and the Libertarian Partys candidate for president of the United States. As of this writing, Johnson is on the ballot in 43 states."

then who would you vote for if not a liberal?
Romney half assed republican
obama socialist\libertarian, probably even more left than most Dems
If there is someone else then please tell me
God help us.
So "us people" is every conservative who supported a candidate other than Romney. Seems to me that's every conservative - which leaves you as ....
lol.
All I said is that third parties have every right to organize and get ballot access. The GOP should be trying to convince people to vote for them instead of trying to take away any alternatives.
A moldy cheese sandwich could beat Obama this year and the GOP is busy bashing conservatives.
I guess George Romney would have supported those new rules too. lol.
BTW, I'm not a Republican. I'm a conservative. Big difference.

I respect your opinion, I just do not a RINO either, the other side will get their way more than ours....
That is a totally different issue.
The issue is ballot access. Third parties have every right to exist and to offer up candidates.
This part has nothing to do with Romney or Newt or anything
Reagan had words for your sort of dogmatic ideological purist.
By Ronald Reagan in his autobiography An American Life
When I began entering into the give and take of legislative bargaining in Sacramento, a lot of the most radical conservatives who had supported me during the election didnt like it. Compromise was a dirty word to them and they wouldnt face the fact that we couldnt get all of what we wanted today. They wanted all or nothing and they wanted it all at once. If you dont get it all, some said, dont take anything. Id learned while negotiating union contracts that you seldom got everything you asked for. And I agreed with FDR, who said in 1933: I have no expectations of making a hit every time I come to bat. What I seek is the highest possible batting average. If you got seventy-five or eighty percent of what you were asking for, I say, you take it and fight for the rest later, and thats what I told these radical conservatives who never got used to it.
You have much luck with that technique?
I wonder what Reagan would think of your style of 'reaching out to the right'.

Well it doesn’t matter how much the other candidates if the ‘nominee’ can boot them out for not backing him.
I think voting for a 3rd. party in this cycle would be suicidally foolhardy.
That being said...where does the GOP get off determining who is and is not qualified for the ballot? All states have their qualifications, and if somebody is able to meet them they should get on the ballot.
Looks to me like a pre-emptive strike because they know sooner or later the Tea Party is going to be forced to split away and take them on.
I respect your opinion, I just do not a RINO either, the other side will get their way more than ours....
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I remember studying something like this in college...
I recall it was “the Sugar Monopolies”
They were proven to be unConstitutional by the Supreme Court...
But theres nothing sweet about what Willard and his GOP-e goons are doing...
I don’t and never supported Gary Johnson, but he has every right to run for President. I think candidates who lose a primary should not be able to jump to another party for the same election but the rules are what they are.
BINGO
Heck, even Bozo the Clown could beat the Obamanation.
The democrats and republicans are neighboring plantations with two groups of slaves shouting back and forth over a shared fence. The only time they stop is when they chuck rocks at free men passing on the road.
BINGO again
