This is from Ron's update:
"On Labor Day, Susie became unresponsive so we brought her to the hospital. After several blood tests and consultations with doctors, the final conclusion was that, unfortunately, Susie is not going to get any better. There are just too many battles going on in her body to handle all at once.
Her mom, Elaine, said it better that I ever could with her comment made on Facebook this morning:
Susie is in hospital surrounded by immediate family. She is doing the work it takes quietly, bravely, painlessly to finish her life and let it go. We are beside her, singing, telling stories, kissing her and stroking her softly in total support of her decision and endeavor. She is so loved.
Before, we have asked for your thoughts and prayers to give Susie strength which you have given in amazing fashion. We now ask that you continue to do so for the sake of her comfort and peace. "
Please add her to your thoughts and prayers today.
Prayers are up.
Dear Heavenly Father, We pray for our sister, Susie. If it is not Your will to heal her, please lovingly take her home to You. We also ask You to give courage to her family. Wipe their tears and remove the ache in their hearts. Allow them to feel Your presence and love. In This I Pray. Amen.
Praying for God’s mercy and compassion.
Merciful God, we remember before you all who are sick this day. Give them courage
to live with their disease. Help them to face and overcome their fears. Be with
them when they are alone or rejected. Comfort them when they are discouraged. And
touch them with your healing Spirit that they may find and possess eternal life,
now and forever. Amen.
God bless!

Prayers up!
When I shall come to the end of my way,
When I shall rest at the close of life's day,
When welcome home I shall hear Jesus say
Oh, that will be sunrise for me.
When in His beauty I see the great King,
Join with the ransomed His praises to sing,
When I shall join them my tribute to bring,
O that will be sunrise for me.
When life is over and daylight has passed,
In Heavens harbor my anchor is cast,
When I see Jesus my Savior at last,
Oh, that will be sunrise for me.
Sunrise tomorrow, Sunrise tomorrow
Sunrise in glory is waiting for me;
Sunrise tomorrow, Sunrise tomorrow
Sunrise with Jesus for eternity.
May the One who created us all bless and ease the suffering of her and her loved ones.
Prayers for Susie and her family.
Prayers up.

MISS ME - BUT LET ME GO
When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long and not with your heads bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared: Miss me but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take, and each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan, a step in the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know.
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me - but let me go.

Will pray now.
