Analysis: Iran accuses Israelis of promoting homosexuality

This week the Iranian web site Mashregh, the voice of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, is featuring a special report titled “Introduction to the overt and covert aspects of spreading homosexuality in the world,” according to an *Israeli National Police terrorism analyst on Monday.

...

"... the West seeks to undermine the family institution by changing the definition of family, encouraging homosexuality, and facilitating the spread of this ugly phenomenon, as it has already done with feminism and pornography,” the Iranian state-sponsored web site alleges.

The article claims its purpose is to answer the question of why Western regimes put so much effort into spreading homosexuality in the world, said officials from Meir Amit.

According to the article, support for homosexuals, who suffer from a mental illness that requires treatment and psychiatric drugs, cannot be explained simply in terms of defense of human rights, since the extent of financial, political, and social support for homosexuals in the West is wholly incongruent with their percentage in the population.

For example, just 1.5 percent of Britain’s population are homosexuals, but the support they receive and the demand to have this small minority recognized are completely out of proportion to their numbers or their ability to influence politics and society.

“The question that needs to be asked, therefore, is why the West goes to such trouble to spread the inhuman phenomenon of homosexuality? Why do regimes in the West dedicate so many programs in the political, social, and cultural spheres to support the worldwide spread of homosexuality? What do these regimes have to gain from the growth of homosexuality that makes them support homosexual organizations and portray this unnatural phenomenon as normal?” the Mashregh report asks.

“If support for homosexuals stemmed from humane considerations or defense of human rights, it would be in the form of providing individual assistance to these people, who need care and medical treatment to rescue them from the immoral actions that undermine the family institution,” the Iranian web site stated.

It appears, therefore, that support for homosexuals stems from political motives and has to be seen as a “cultural strategy” pursued by regimes in the West. “This strategy can be clearly seen in the policy of Britain’s conservatives and in that of the Democratic administration in the United States,” states the Mashregh article.

The Iranian propaganda article goes into detail about the considerable efforts made by Western governments to “spread homosexuality” this past decade. Such efforts include recognizing same-sex marriage; characterizing homosexuality (which is a “sexual aberration, scientifically”) as a phenomenon that stems from genetic factors and also changing the definition of the family institution and recognizing same-sex couples as a “family” in official documents. I do find it interesting that the report does echo complaints and suspicions that western social conservatives have regarding the championing of homosexuality being something more than a civil rights issue, but rather an attempt to invert civilization -and the insistence that it makes little sense for less than 2 % of the human population to have such a massively huge impact on politics and legislation.

I thought so in that its arguments echo exactly those of social conservatives within western democracies.

Except this is the humane care and medical treatment homosexuals receive in Iran...

Well, that is horrific and not the right solution by any means.

I don’t think so. It’s just interesting that their report is right about many of the aspects of western motives for the championing of homosexuality. Aside from that, Iran is not the American republic of the founding fathers, does not have our history, religion, or taste for liberty, and has nothing to offer Americans.

They have a huge impact because they are supported by a well-controlled media bent on destroying western (i.e. christian) civilization. These days, the only places the truth can come out is in unlikely countries like Russia and Iran.

Yes. Disturbing and ironic to have only nations such as Russia and Iran speaking the truth on this.

Whence comes your screen name? IIRC, Abercrombie & Fitch has been accused of ephebophilic marketing photos: and ephebophilia is a common habit among practicing homosexuals (see for example Sandusky).

Consider my irony meter pinged.

Cheers!

Well, until just recently Russians classified homosexualism as a mental disorder. As for Iran I think sodomy considered a capital crime.

I suppose the best response to this would be to suggest that the Iranians are so opposed to homosexuality because they are closeted homosexuals. Thus whoever in Iran speaks out against homos most of all must be the most homosexual.

And the best part is, the same bad logic works about those Iranians most opposed to Jews, that they have the most “Jewish tendencies”.

Yes, same was said of Rick Santorum and Peter Lebarbara. I don’t hold to such a “repression-projection” theory, but it has been common among gay advocates. I think the social and cultural dangers of championing homosexuality can be taken seriously while harboring neither hatred nor fear for gays.

It is for those who corrupt children into homosexuality and touch them for their own gratification. Teachers, priests, whatever.

Sure, buddy. We always hear conservatives blaming the homo grooming ongoing in public schools on the Jooos. Everyone knows that Irish pedophile, Sandusky, is a Joooo./s/

Islamists are against theft, too. So are conservatives!!!! Do you smell the connection of evil there?

Social engineering marriage and family around the anal sex lifestyle is insane. Even the Muslims know not to advocate for marrying their goats and the boys they rape.
