VIDEO: Former Democrat and U.S. Rep. Artur Davis of Alabama addresses the Republican National Convention. Artur Davis was an enthusiastic supporter of Obama's 2008 bid for the presidency. In fact, Davis was one of the national co-chairs for Obama's 2008 campaign. In this speech, Davis encourages the nation to listen to the speakers at the Democrat Party Convention and ask yourself if they're speaking for you.

His speech was brilliant. The best of the night, imo.
One of the best speeches of the night. I gave him many standing ovations. We need more Artur Davis’s on our side, what a difference 4 years make, I am glad he saw the light and is now on our side
All the speeches tonight were excellent. When you have the truth it finds a way to shine through.
Pray for America
I didn’t catch it but I have a good friend in the media/movement who did and gave a similar 2 thumbs up!
The crowd loved him
BUMP!
He hit it out of the park.By far the best speech from the wonks..Ann was great with hers too..but Davis told it like it is...I hope the wishywashy voters listened to him.
It was indeed brilliant. He moved a lot of people, you could see it in the people’s faces.
I loved it and wanted to hear more.
Didn’t watch it. I confess to be truly confused about this man.
1. Watched him elected as a U.S. Rep from an overwhelmingly black district in AL. His dominant interest was health care.
2. Watched him rise to be among the very first in Congress to endorse BHO’s 2007 candidacy.
3. Watched him run in the state primary for governor. He lost to a very weak white candidate, who in turn, lost in the general election. Black voters, who previously supported him in droves, turned hard against him when he expressed doubts about ObamaCare.
I know the great Ronaldus Maximus came over to the GOP from the dark side, and I remember Governor Zell Miller (GA-D) speaking at the 2004 GOP convention. Yet, I cannot forget Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, and J.C. Watts showing support for BHO in 2008.
What’s that old fable about the frog and the scorpion?
I agree! Among many great speeches, his stood out... I hope he was heard by those that *needed* to hear him!!!
Is this your site, sir?
Either way, all the speechifyin in the world - though fine and dandy, thrilling up our neckhairs -
WON’T matter
...if this vote is counted suchly:

Has this been covered here at FR? Debunked?
Very salient points for the non kool-aid drinking electorate (conservative democrats and independents).
