Bishop Calls on All Christians to Leave Democratic Party

Bishop E.W. Jackson is making a war cry: Let Gods people go!
Jackson, a Marine Corps veteran, graduate of Harvard Law School and adjunct professor of law, is echoing the words of Moses in a campaign to persuade Christians of all races that the time has come for a wholesale exodus of Christians from the Democrat Party.
The former candidate for U.S. Senate in Virginia points to what he calls the Democrat party's cult-like devotion to abortion; the rejection of the traditional biblical model of family; the hostility hurled at those who express a Christian viewpoint such as Chick-fil-A president and Chief Operating Officer Dan Cathy; the actions of organizations such as the ACLU and the Foundation For Freedom From Religion in suing cities and towns for displaying crosses at memorials or mentioning the name Jesus in prayer at official events.
Beyond all of this, Jackson says, Democrat operatives are also attacking Gabrielle Douglas, the 16-year old black American who won the 2012 gold medal in gymnastics.
The accomplished young lady had the nerve to give glory to God for her win, Jackson says. This apparently offended liberals.
Case in point: Mary Elizabeth Williams, journalist for the progressive online magazine Salon.com, wrote, I've often wondered what it is about Christians like Douglas that unnerves me so ... Douglas and her ilk seem to espouse a faith based on what is commonly referred to as 'The God of Parking Spaces.'
Jackson, founder and president of STAND (Staying True to America's National Destiny), responds: Progressives are indeed 'unnerved' by devout Christians. That's why they resort to ridicule, even of a 16-year-old Olympic medal winner. Williams says we worship 'The God of Parking Spaces,' but I would prefer Gabby's God of grace and kindness to the leftist's god of ridicule and persecution.
Our Heavenly Father loves us and helps those who are humble enough to ask Him.
Later this month when Democrats make same-sex marriage part of their official Party Platform, the former practicing attorney says they will be spitting in the face of every Bible-believing Christian in America: They will be saying, 'We don't care what you think, what you believe, or what the Bible or the God of the Bible says. We know better than God.'
Jackson's message to Christians is, The Democrat Party has turned its back on Christians. It is time to turn our backs on the Democrat Party.
Bishop Jackson ran in the Virginia GOP Senate primary that was won by George Allen. From my meetings with him, he is the real deal. He should be a speaker at the upcoming convention - he is that good.
Bout time somebody had the guts to say the obvious!
If Dems were smart, they would run guys like this in elections. But, alas, they are not.
I was wondering when something like this would happen. Most Democrats are nowhere near as radical as their leadership. Of course most GOP ‘leaders’ are nowhere near as conservative as the base, either.
Bishop Jackson is a Virginia Republican.
Kudos to the bishop for telling it like it is. Thank you Dr. for your tireless efforts on behalf of life and Christian ethics!
I’ve been seeing a change - and part of a change with the GOP in Virginia.
The “God of parking spaces”?????? I’m afraid to ask.
wow! Along the same lines as the recent Catholic church video about the election...the sleeping, silent majority is not sleeping, not silent any more! AMEN!!!!!
Mr. Jackson is spot on: membership in, affiliation with, or support for the party of abortion, faggotry and socialism is completely incompatible with a claim to be Christian.
How to describe his Exodus Faith Ministries? Is it part of another denomination, or independent?
Democrats trash all forms of morality in society from abolishing the death penalty for murderers to parolling child molesters. Support for abortion is only one kind of immorality they push American society to adopt.
GOOD GOOD GOOD!
(I normally do not favor clerics coming right out and directly telling us what political parties or candidates to vote for. I prefer that they limit their commentary to discussion of Christian or Jewish teachings... and leave the political choices to our, the parishioners’, intelligence to figure out for ourselves. But the current situation is so extreme, and the D party so strongly against so many important Judeo- Christian values..... I believe this is one of those rare times in history when the clerics just HAVE to speak out like this. Good job, Bishop!)
People need to understand that this entire Gay Marriage thing is an attack on the church.
Oh, but yes they are. The mere fact that they maintain their devotion to the "D" party implies either that they're stupid or hypocrites. That's why, at local levels, the politicians try not to let you know what letter is after their name.
To be affiliated in any way with a party that is anti-family, anti-American, pro-homosexual, against the exclusivity of male/female marriage, the more they ignore the slaughter in our abortuaries nationally and the fact that their party's leader believes in deliberate, cold hearted, cruel, and vicious murder of newly born Americans makes me think that they're STUPID.
And if they're not stupid, then they're too damn lazy to look at the forest instead of just the trees.
WTF is this supposed to mean?
It absolutely is.
When they are flaunting their sin in the streets, they often display clothing and items with religious overtones. Dressing as nuns, etc., they really are given over to depravity.
I don't have a clue. That's why I said "I'm afraid to ask".
It’s not going top make much of a difference when all 12 of the democrat Christians leave the party.
