I’ve seen those. How do you know when the small tank is full?
Well I have uses for the small cans, got five or six of the single mantle propane lights that screw onto the tops of the small bottles.
When the power is out, I can light my house almost as bright as when the juice is on!
Still flip the switch when I go in a room though... duh...
Also got a couple camping cooking burners that fit on the tops of the bottles.
Heck, last time when the juice was out (3 days) I was snug in front of my pellet stove (running off my generator) drinking hot coffee and eating scrambled eggs and hash browns. My neighbor even asked me pretty please if I could charge her cell phone, so I said sure...
I tell people to be prepared because if and when it hits, I DO NOT WANT to have to work with a bunch of people who are hungry or grouchy or cold or mad because they didn’t get a decent nights sleep.
People need to get with the program!!

Camp stove and propane tanks.
We have a regular 2 burner camp stove and a bigger 3 burner propane stove with small legs, and a number of 5 gallon (or is it pound?) propane tanks. And a wood cook stove but I sure hate cooking with those things in the summer. For the propane camp stoves or an outdoor campfire, a metal box oven works well; it’s small but it works, I’ve made birthday cakes in them as well as biscuits, baked potatoes, etc. Coleman sells them, may be availalbe elsewhere, I’ve gotten one at a garage sale too.
That's exactly where I got the idea.
I actually made an adapter before I found the one at Harbor Freight.
I intend to barter a refill of those little critters.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammo, I say.
A couple minutes. The pressure limits over filling. There are some good informational videos if you do a google search.
Get an adapter hose and just hook straight up to any tank.
I have a double burner Coleman that I hook up to a 5 gal tank.
I had it for my deer camp, and used it quite a few times when I still lived in town and had an electric stove.
Everything is stored/used outside.

Folks, it is truly up to We the People to stop this. If you are supportive, become proactive!
As for me I don’t want to be beholden to anyone for providing what is needed for me and mine. I certainly don’t want to have to kiss some ‘gubberment’ third class bureaucratic to try and coax some help from them, I don’t want some ‘jack booted’ thug herding me in line and telling me where to stand, sit, eat or sleep. And last but not least I don’t want to be shut up with a bunch of ‘zombies’ and have to worry about not only trying to get basic necessities but having to fight to keep what I manage to get.
Now you do what you want, like I said someone has to stand on the bridge waiting for FEMA to bring him a bottle of water, an MRE and a warm blanket so as to provide the Network Anchors their background ‘Money Shot’. How do you think it will work out for you if you are that guy?
My preps include two sources. For the short term outages of a typical south Louisiana hurricane (i.e. power out for a few days - one week) I keep copious amounts of charcoal on hand, and can, if needed feed myself and neighbors.
In the event of a larger/longer collapse when the smell of grilling food outdoors would attract ne'er-do-wells and scavengers, I've bought some additional burner units for kerosene lamps and converted them to little stove tops. Lamp oil stores easily, and in addition to being able to heat up the contents of a can of food or two at a time, I can swap out the burner units when I'm done, and return them to lamp configuration. Best of all, I can do my food prep entirely indoors, away from the wandering eyes and noses of whatever is left prowling the neighborhood.
