Last night I sat back and thought about the Republican primaries, the media and Obama. Everything seemed to point to another 2008, where the RATS and their MSM lapdogs selected the RINO candidate while destroying the Conservative candidates. Palin changed the game for a while until both the media, Obama and the RINO destroyed Palin.
Now it is 2012. For 4 years the MSM, DNC and RINOS made sure Palin was still attacked, they went after every Conservative they could, ensuring that Romney was their handpicked opponent for Obama. Obama said he wanted Romney. The RINO establishment wanted Romney. The DNC and MSM wanted Romney.
So, if Romney wins, can we finally blame Obama for something?

It would be most satisfying that Romney selects Sarah Palin as VP, Romney wins the election and then five minutes later steps down.

If Romney loses the D behind Obama’s name will stand for Dhimmitude.

If he would do that, I might vote for him....nah.

What would be even funnier is that the people who whine, complain, and post cartoons, yet offer no realistic solutions or candidates, are the ones who actually get 0bama re-elected.
Unfortunately, that would not be funny but probably the end of America.

You mean funny like, when you take some Chinese food of unknown vintage out of the refrigerator and say “Hey, this smells funny!” - THAT kind of funny?

That would be the republican party, and their "where else they gonna go" strategy.

I swore that I would work so hard in the primary that I would not have to vote for the lesser of two evils again!
Well instead, history will repeat itself for me!

It would be real nice if we had a concrete, realistic answer to that smug question from the Republican establishment, in the very near future.
That same answer MIGHT help keep President Romney in line.

I am amazed to hear myself say it, but if this were an election between Romney and Bill Clinton, I might sit it out. But Obama is a stone cold Communist who will turn this country into a European Social Welfare State over the course of the next four years. As wishy-washy as Mitt may be, he won’t do that. And given his business background, he may even take an axe to spending and cut the budget. I can live with that.

What is unintended consequences? The worse I can think of is that Obama becomes a pundit on Current TV.
I see no downside to him getting beat.

“Unintended consequences” is sort of like hiring Hannibal Lecter to be the chef at your new posh restaurant and then wondering why all the customers keep disappearing while Hannibal serves up “Leg of Leonard”.

Fixed that for you......look what the South Afrikans have done....took the worlds eighth largest economy and turned it into a third world slum.....slaughtering whites and their families......seizing property......see the correlation here?

In 2008, I would agree that the MSM selected the GOP candidate.
However, in 2012, I tend to believe that the GOP-e selected Romney. The situations in Florida and Virginia demonstrate this.
Would it be funny if Romney won? Odd question. If Romney wins, that means Obama lost. Which means we’d go from the deliberate enactment of socialism to the occasional unintended enactment of socialism. I’d call that uneasy relief.

Well instead, history will repeat itself for me!
And forever, and forever, and forever.
And as history has shown, he will probably select a bigger idiot than himself for VP who will lose to the Dims in the next round. The exception was Dick Chaney who was too ill to run for president.

What would be even funnier is that the people who whine, complain, and post cartoons, yet offer no realistic solutions or candidates, are the ones who actually get 0bama re-elected. The only realistic solution is building up conservative majorities in Congress and at the state level and electing a conservative like Scott Walker as President in 2016. Any other outcome moves the nation to the left for another eight years and wipes out the gains made by conservatives in 2010.
