The Second Amendment - the right of the people to keep and bear arms - could not be more clear, despite assertions by those who disagree with this right.

The implication of the second amendment was not intended for hunters , target shooters , or gun collectors and that’s why most govt. officials who oppose gun ownership fear this amendment the most .
Owning a gun will be considered dangerous and unhealthy. Anyone who admits to owning a gun will be taxed heavily under the Affordable Healthcare Act.
A tax like that wouldn’t pass the current Congress, so such a proposal would be DOA.
How long until Obama scraps this? A year? Two? Next will be the Government confiscation of all Gold. He can rule as he see’s fit—Congress can vote all it wants—but Obama has the power.
July 2012 will break all records for gun sales!
The 2nd Amendment doesn’t grant a right. It affirms a pre-existing natural one.
I do not have a gun. This is inactivity. I may now be taxed.
Alternate version: I have a gun. This is activity. I may now be taxed.
Alternate to the alternate version: I intend on getting a gun, or, maybe not. This is thought. It is also inactivity. I may now be taxed.
Eureka version: I see. I feel. I taste. I hear. I smell. Ergo, I can now be taxed.
I may be taxed for hurling. And for cleaning it up. I may also be taxed for any bloody thing I do or DO NOT DO.
Republicans need to 1st day after repealing the entire obamacare law, put forth legislation taxing every adult who doesn’t own a handgun. Let liberals enjoy their new precedent. And we can pass it just like these mother effers did theirs. All one-party votes.
By not owning a gun, it puts more burden on the rest of us to deal with potential criminals and dangerous situations. It also burdens the government law enforcement agencies more because if they had a firearm they could protect themselves instead of calling for the police. An armed citizen keeps government costs down because they can provide more for their own defense and protection.
It’d never pass the House. Obama are passed b/c dems controlled house, senate, and executive.
The entire constitution protects rights we already had, as partlymdescribed in the Declaration. It doesn’t give us rights, it protects the inalienable rights we and the sovereign states had before fedgov existed. As well as exist if both state and fedgov are destroyed, we still have them because we are people, endowed by our Creator with these rights.
