Balmy Prince Charlie Says Climate Change Inaction Will Be "Catastrophic"
Conservative Nation News ^ | June 17, 2012

(BBC News) -- The Prince of Wales has warned of the "catastrophic" consequences of inaction on issues such as climate change, at a UN sustainability conference in Brazil.

Prince Charles said he had "watched in despair" at the slow pace of progress on the "critical issues of the day," in a pre-recorded video address in Rio.

He urged world leaders to adopt a more integrated approach to issues such as climate change and food security.

Waiting for the worst to happen would be "too late to act at all", he said.

And physical history just about guarantees that any Human Action Addressed Toward Climate Change, will without any doubt, be catastrophic. Just the funds required alone will wreck world economies (see current world debt). Then of course we have to believe that a bunch of crony scientists actually know enough about science to get their climate change modifications correct. And who is addressing the fact that lower CO2 levels guarantees less food production ?

Every time I see a picture of or see that clown, I swear it's like out of a Monty Python skit.
Especially the old "Twit of the Year" one.

Prince Charles has not an education in science. His pronunciations about the environment are without merit. He was schooled as follows:

On the recommendation of Robin Woods, Dean of Windsor, and despite only gaining grades of B and C in his A Levels,[8] the Prince was admitted to Trinity College, Cambridge University, where he read anthropology, archaeology, and history, tutored by Canadian-born Professor John Coles. He graduated with a 2:2 Bachelor of Arts on 23 June 1970, the third Royal Family member to earn a university degree.[9] On 2 August 1975 he was subsequently awarded a Master of Arts Degree from Cambridge, per the university's tradition.[9] During his tertiary, Charles also attended the Old College (part of the University of Wales, Aberystwyth), studying the Welsh language and Welsh history. He is the first Prince of Wales born outside of Wales ever to attempt to learn the language of the principality.

If Prince Charles talks about anthropology, archeology or history and the United Kingdom I will listen. If he talks about science I will not listen.

Where has he been all month? He really should step outside of the palace and experience this lovely wintery weather we are having. I suppose he is in his quarters enjoying a spot of tea in front of the fire on a cold, wet, and grey June afternoon.

Hugo Chavez on "climate change"...

From GreenLeft.org

VENEZUELA: Chavez calls for global offensive for socialism
August 31, 2005

excerpts...

"The environment is suffering damage that could be irreversible — global warming, the greenhouse effect, the melting of the polar ice caps, the rising sea level, hurricanes — with terrible social occurrences that will shake life on this planet."

"I believe this idea has a strong connection with reality. I don't think we have much time. Fidel Castro said in one of his speeches I read not so long ago, 'tomorrow could be too late, let's do now what we need to do'."

"I believe it is time that we take up with courage and clarity a political, social, collective and ideological offensive across the world — a real offensive that permits us to move progressively, over the next years, the next decades, leaving behind the perverse, destructive, destroyer, capitalist model and go forward in constructing the socialist model to avoid barbarism and beyond that the annihilation of life on this planet."

--Hugo Chavez, at the 16th World Festival of Youth and Students, held in Caracas on August 8-15, 2005

Here is more of his speech summarized by the BBC:

He said data on on energy, water, biodiversity, forestry and soil, which is collected separately, needed to be combined and and analysed as a whole.

“If this could happen, at least then we would know what the state of the planet actually is - and then plan accordingly,” he said.

Charles seems to be focusing on a bigger, fuzzier picture than global warming or even “climate change.” I think a lot of leaders are “cooling” to the obvious pseudo-science and following their public as it abandons the AGW cult.

"Prince Charles said he had "watched in despair" at the slow pace of progress on the "critical issues of the day,..."

And I, Prince Charles, watched in amazement as you spurned the love of that fine looking Princess Diana for that of a crusty old whore like Camilla Parker Bowles.

Shut your pie hole. You've proven yourself to be a damned idiot.

Yeah, Charles, just whomp it all together. After all, it's just numbers. And then, so that everyone can understand it, you can reduce that one humongous number down to, like, an average. Like on a scale of one to ten. And then, you can have this global committee, and give it, like, alllllll this power, and it would go around and put stickers on everyone's foreheads, with their global number on it. Maybe color code it too. Then - then! Then you'd know what to DO with each person. Yes, each and every person. Bwahahahahahah!
