"For Greater Glory" Thoughts Part 1

I saw the movie "For Greater Glory" yesterday. I recommend seeing it. It was quite good, although it didn't go far enough in driving home the brutality of the Cristero War. It was more than people being hung and shot. It was rape and unspeakable torture - and please never forget that rape is a near-universal phenomenon in war, particularly amongst non-Christians and anti-Christians. The rape is probably the thing I dread the most about the upcoming war here in the U.S. This is going to be different. It isn't going to be armies of conscripted men in organized campaigns. This is going to be hell unleashed - the demonic against absolutely everything, in a war of attrition.

The hip-hop culture is one of the most satanic, brutal, disgusting collections of human foulness ever seen on earth. When I look back at history and see that men in relatively benign and stable cultures gleefully turned to rape as soon as the Rule of Law disappeared and they knew that they could get away with it, the pangs of dread in the pit of my stomach begin. The hip-hop culture is like a foreign exchange program from hell itself. Those people are so demonically influenced and their humanity so reduced that they are like ravenous animals just waiting behind a grate to be loosed on the populace - and this culture has all been cultivated and brought to its satanic fullness before the hot war even breaks out. When you look at rap music, with its satanic, pornographic lyrics and culture of near-constant animalistic, inhuman sex, and you combine that with the fact that many hip-hop culture men who have spent time in prison are already very comfortable with homosexual sex acts and homosexual rape, you realize that everyone will be a rape target - women, children (including infants) and men. If the Mexican Federales, who were mostly men raised in a far more stable culture than today's inner-cities, raped nuns without hesitation, then you all need to face and prepare for the reality of the far-worse hell that is coming soon to a subdivision near you.

If you want a good run-down of the Cristero War, here is a link to an excellent sermon from a Tridentine Mass priest on the subject. It is about 30 minutes long. When you're done listening to this, please remember that this was a run-of-the-mill Sunday sermon. This is what Sunday sermons are supposed to be. Now compare this to the intellectually insipid and/or clownish pablum of most Novus Ordo homilies and sermons, and certainly the unquantifiable stupidity of Superfun Rockband church "messages", and hopefully, again, you will begin to understand what it is that you are missing - what has been robbed from you.

CLICK HERE FOR AUDIOSANCTO.ORG SERMON The Cristeros: Will We See Another Catholic Persecution?

That sermon was preached on October 9, AD 2011, and already it is stunningly prophetic.

But before we go into the direct correlations, I looked up Roger Ebert's review of "For Greater Glory" yesterday, just out of curiosity. Ebert is a Chicago uber-leftist who, after reading his review of the movie, I now know is literally brainwashed and no longer able to think or reason clearly - and that's always scary to see. This is a consistent problem with uber-leftists in the end-stages of their "revolutions", as Marxism and totalitarianism DEMAND that its sycophants deny reality and suspend all logical thought. To wit, Ebert. He actually gave the movie a good review, but then made the jaw-droppingly idiotic criticism that the only religion portrayed was Catholicism. It was all Catholic, Catholic, Catholic. There was no mention of any of the world's other religions, and thus the movie had no "credibility." How dare anyone release a movie in which Catholicism and Catholics are the subject? Ebert criticised "For Greater Glory" because it did not present the Cristero War from the perspective of the Buddhists, Hindus and Baha'i in Mexico in 1926. You know, because a declared war against the CATHOLIC CHURCH and CATHOLICS in a nation that was more than 95% Catholic should, in proper self-loathing political correctness, IGNORE and REMOVE all references to CATHOLICISM.

Do you see how far gone these people are? It is no longer sufficient to merely HATE Jesus Christ and His Church. No, we are now to the point where the Marxists demand that everyone deny the very existence of Christ and His Church. Jesus Christ is now "he who must not be named." I wonder if Ebert said the same thing about "Kundun"? Shouldn't the 1997 biopic of the 14th Dalai Lama have been told from the perspective of the Maori animists, or Mormons living in Tibet, you know, in order to be ... credible? It was all Buddhists, Buddhists, Buddhists. Right, Ebert? Oh, but wait. That's different, because only Christianity is to be reviled and purged from history in a self-loathing nutty-fit.

Well, I guess when everything you believe in is a lie from the blackest pit of hell, the Truth of Heaven is the enemy, and must be quashed. Right, Ebert? Hey, if anyone wants to make a cool billion dollars, all you need to do is make a movie about the Cristero War with no Catholics. Ebert will give you four stars. If you make the heroic victors muslim, I'll bet you'll win the Oscar for Best Picture!

"For Greater Glory" Thoughts Part 2

Finally, just a bit on the parallels. Rush Limbaugh remarked on this on Thursday or Friday, and he is right. There is nothing new under the sun. What the satanic Obama regime is doing is exactly what every other Communist and proto-Communist tyranny has tried to do: destroy the Catholic Church. The French tried it during the French Revolution and before they were done, 450,000 people were dead. The Bolshevik Mexican government patterned their tactical progression against the Church off of the French genocide of the Vendee. The Obama regime is patterning itself off of the French, Soviet, German, Chinese and Mexican wars against the Church.

All of these satanic tyrannies required priests and bishops to swear an oath of loyalty to the regime or the revolution or be killed. What this accomplished was setting up a faux-Church that was nothing more than a temporary client and propaganda arm of the government in order to mollify the people and consolidate power before completely exterminating all appearances of religion. Remember, satan does not share power. Communists demand TOTAL fealty.

The interesting thing in the Communist-Obamaist overthrow of the U.S. is the fact that oaths are meaningless in this culture, already massively degraded and degenrated by Communist infiltration over the last 50 years. So, the Obama regime is probably never going to summon the Catholic bishops to the oval office and make them swear a loyalty oath to Obama, his revolutionary government, or anything else.

But don't be fooled. There is still a juring (oath-taking) process, it is just being presented in a more subtle form. Can you guess what it is?

That's right. It is the HHS mandates. The bishops won't have to SAY that they swear loyalty to the Communist-Obamaist regime. No, the bishops will be expected to assent to the "revolution" by the act of assenting to the regime mandating that all citizens pay for contraception and abortion. Maybe the bishops will get their little "exceptions", but if the faithful have to subsidize child killing and the bishops go along claiming that their little "exception" for themselves is sufficient, it will be a de facto juring. It will be an underhanded demonstration of loyalty to the Communist-Obamaist revolution. If you think about it, you realize that it is exactly the same thing as what the Mexican government demanded the Cristeros say in order to show their loyalty: "Muerte a Cristo Rey", that is, "Death to Christ the King."

Any assent or capitualtion to the HHS mandate is exactly the same thing as shouting "DEATH TO CHRIST THE KING" at high noon in the town square. Excatly the same. Since most of the bishops today are sleazy little men, educated and steeped in Marxism and homosexualism, and ambitious for political power and career advancement, they may just be stupid enough to think that they can get away with politicking their way through this, claiming that a narrow exemption for parish and chancery staff while throwing the laity to the wolves will be able to be spun as a victory.

If that's what they think, they would be dead wrong. You don't treat or parley with satan. You don't "listen" so that "compromise" can be struck with hell itself. The only satisfactory outcome is total and complete victory, and the only reply to the Obama regime is

VIVA CRISTO REY! QUE VIVA MI CRISTO! QUE VIVA MI REY!

(Look good and hard at this picture, bishops and priests. This is how a MAN OF GOD dies. Emphasis on the MAN.)

You assume that the military and the agencies would act against the citizens. That is not the take I get.

My father-in-law was in the weapons business 40 years. I know many of his old employees and friends. They will not be turned.

Some of my OKie friends in McAlester and some of my Texas friends in Amarillo supply the talons for our birds. I know the type of people who furnish such stuff. They are still patriots.

Is that because you don’t “like” the Catholic church? I am a Catholic and I always hear from those I had considered to be perfectly reasonable people things like “I hate the Catholic Church” from people who have never darkened the door of the Catholic church and have no clue what they are talking about. I have seen ridiculous lies on the internet about nuns held in dungeons in Europe, etc.
My Protestant neighbor volunteered she is grateful that the Catholic church is holding the line on infanticide and homosexuality, when almost no one else is.
No one is willing to die for anything these days. But they may find life is not worth living as a slave where nothing is sacred and satan rules. There are fates worse than death

What statement did I make that suggested that?

It appears to me that you like to argue. I don't.

Not going to happen. Too many guns. Too many rednecks, oilies and clod farmers for that to happen.

Taking that as a given, I take no comfort in it, because the evil is being advanced stealthily. We must always remember that the vast majority of Americans do not grasp the issue as most of us do.

Even the phrase "render unto Caesar..." has lost its impact since the list of Caesar's now is virtually infinite and the list of God's is constantly shrinking into irrelevance.

Shooting at them won't change that list. The very first thing that needs to happen is that the CHURCH presents HER Declaration of Independence to the Beast Government. Post a list of the specific and detailed usurpations. Beyond that, preach it from the pulpit every Sunday. Make clear the existential threat that we can see. Many do not yet see it.

We can be encouraged that 43 lawsuits were filed against Obama. But that has had no impact on public perception and discourse (that I am aware of), and will have no effect on moving the political process in the short term.

It's up to the laity (of all religious persuasions) to push our spiritual authorities to do the work that only they can do. We must have their backs covered when they nail the Declaration to the Court House door.

Sixty million American babies have been massacred and nobody's fired a shot. God may help and Heaven may preserve us in spite of that, but I wouldn't count on it.

Word.

Agreed. By destroying the family unit, by destroying independence of action, by destroying morality, by dividing the citizens against each other. Those who seek to destroy this nation are servants of the father-of-lies.

you said “that dog won’t hunt” here in Texas and that oilies and clod farmers and red necks won’t watch the movie?

If that doesn’t mean you won’t watch the movie because it’s Catholic, what does it mean?

I was puzzled by the author’s summoning up the horrors of “rap culture” in this discussion of a movie based on official government attacks, carried out by Federal troops, on Catholic citizens. The very thing that makes the Mexican comparison so frightening is that Mexico was not a state without the rule of law, such as some African state that hasn’t known the rule of law since the colonial powers left, but that all of these things went through their legislature and through elected officials and were enforced by the military. And that is exactly what would happen here.

I don’t think our big problem is going to be armed thugs rampaging in the streets, but a government that already has enormous power and the ability to simply shut things down and go after the people or groups it wants through official means. And I don’t think individual weaponry is going to be much use against this.

It’s possible that Fossil knows many decent military folks, who would risk it all by defying an unjust order, but I think the great majority of them would simply do what they were told. And don’t forget that Bill Clinton did a lot to reshape the military and make it a more politicized culture, and Obama has taken this into overdrive and I would suspect has driven many of the better people out of their military careers and dissuaded others from going in. I think his “gayification” of the armed forces was aimed at this, and you will find that the new PC military is not automatically going to be on the side of the citizens any longer.

It is true that the brutality of rap culture has probably encouraged more brutal attitudes among the young male population (of any color) and that this group in the military might be more inclined to commit atrocities. But it would be in the context of official government-sponsored action and not Third World style rioting.

That said, I don’t think Obama and the left are going to have to resort to violence to suppress the Church, but will rely on economic and legal attacks that will basically harass it out of the public square. Probably religious worship will be permitted, but all other Church activities will be suppressed. I also suspect that the left is working hard to encourage a schism where a “Patriotic Catholic Church” in the Chinese style will be born, and then will be given all the property and institutions of the actual Catholic Church and will be treated by the US government as the genuine Church. Henry VIII did this very effectively through the creation of the Church of England (although back in those days, he did have to use a bit of official torture and brutality to get his point across, even though most of the bishops were quite agreeable to going along with him).

I did not realise the movie was "Catholic".

I know about Mexican politics and culture. I know enough of the History of Mexico to despise what is being forced on the citizen of Mexico.

A fine lady that I went to church with, was run out of Mexico with her family during Poncho Villa's rampage. She owned/operated a cotton gin here for many many years.

The "Left" has been successful in co-opting the Catholic Church in countries in Central America. Example: the Liberation Theology folks in Nicaragua, which enabled the Sandanistas to come to power. I was toe to toe with their surrogates in NM during that era. I know what lefties really are. No illusions.

Yes. Death by a thousand cuts. I am reminded of a Flannery O'Conner line... "She sometimes thought she could be a martyr if they killed her real quick"

few people in the US even know that Mexico went through a Communist revolution in the early part of the 20th century

Do you have any more information on this like a link that would get me up to speed?

Or was the “dog” that wouldn’t hunt Ann Barnhart’s “coming war”? Maybe I misunderstood, I read situations wrong all the time.

Anyway, yes the Liberation Theology is completely heathen and not Christian and yes, the Catholic church was deliberately infiltrated by satan’s minions in the form of communists , homosexuals and pedophiles. Still a remnant of truth struggled through the filth and remains.

I have my own well and know how to tap into it. As far as using the Second Amendment. The Tea Party was peaceful- at first. Bus loads of legally armed civilians head to DC. Surround the Capitol Building. Let the stand-off begin.

” You assume that the military and the agencies would act against the citizens. That is not the take I get. “

Military action against citizens is not even remotely my point nor the cause for my skepticism. I just look around and see modern reality that these are days of remote control, a new tactic that delivers overwhelming force that can make guns and clips look obsolete.
